We were over the moon with the wedding cake Linda made for us! Linda is an extremely talented lady who has an exceptional eye for detail- nothing was too much to ask in our consultations - she even put a Barnsley FC shirt on the icing figurine of my husband! Linda was very professional and very easy to work with at every stage of the process, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result. The cake looked stunning and it tasted great too. Linda made me a cake for our engagement party. The chocolate cake was to die for and surprisingly, unlike many other cakes, stayed moist for many days after the event giving us time to eat it! The decoration was amazing. I went back this week to arrange the wedding cake. Her knowledge of what will work and what won't is what stands her out from the rest. From her experience, If it's going to be a flop, she'll tell you and give you ideas to make your cake a stunner. Can't wait for the finished article! Linda made our wedding cake and our 1st anniversary cake, which was a lovely surprise from my husband. Her cakes are gorgeous and absolutely delicious. So much effort goes into each one its a real shame to cut into them.
Her service is also second to non, we had a problem with our wedding cake through our transportation and she turned it round in 2 days, delivered it to the venue herself whilst giving us complete confidence we didn't need to worry about it.

Late review but there you go. Back in 2011 I won a competition and part of the prize was a wedding cake by Linda. OMG! Was the best prize ever. She was so helpful helping me design a cake especially when I hadn't really given it much thought. The details she went into were exceptional and to this day my husband still daydreams about the cake! We had chocolate and vanilla sponge, normally I am not a fan of chocolate because I find it rather dry but this cake was amazing! so glad I got the chocolate as the middle tier it meant there was more of it. She delivered it to the venue on time and it was the centrepiece we were looking for. What can I say other than "AMAZING" I met Linda at a wedding fayre and was amazing by some of the cakes she had on show but I can honestly say I have never tasted or seen a more beautiful cake than my wedding cake, it was 4 layers made up of different flavours and each one was gorgeous, Linda advised me on what would suit my cake decoration wise and I can't thank her enough for her expertise and craftsmanship on all the tiny little details. Linda made our cake and favours for our September wedding. The cake was just amazing, five tiers and tasted as good as it looked. We took advantage of being able to have five different flavours and she didn't disappoint. We chose biscuit favours, dress shape for the girls and waistcoat for the boys, again absolutely fabulous. We have a sign saying 'We're only here for the cake' it was great fun and very popular with our guests and photos. Well if that was true, it's only because of having our special day added by having the perfect wedding cake. My wife Donna and I, met Linda at a wedding fair just a few months before our wedding. We absolutely fell in love with her and with her work. After a meeting with Linda, and trying out some amazing samples of her work. We knew there and then she was the one to do the job. Cut to a few months later and our wedding. We of course got to see the cake a few days before the wedding and we were amazed and absolutely delighted! The time and work that has gone into this beautiful work of art (that's what I call it) and the attention to detail made our cake perfect. We loved it. Linda brought the cake to our venue the day before, along with the biscuits we ordered too. Everything was perfect and so well presented. Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful it looked and asked who made it. The cake was something that was really important to us and it was everything we wanted and more! With the vaguest of instructions -ie Make it look nice and red icing (!)Linda made us a lovely cake for my mother in law’s surprise 70th. A lot of cakes look great but don’t taste the best but this cake actually tasted amazing. Lots of good feedback from the family aswell!! Linda supported us with the surprise as she worked around us for time making sure she didn’t bump into my Mum on the way into the venue.

We met Linda at a wedding fayre literally not long before our wedding day, as the cake was one of our last things to sort out. Her samples were amazing so we put our deposit down �
Linda was very well organised with us and booked us in for a meeting at her home to discuss what we wanted in a cake. We decided to go for a 5 tier cake and the flavours we chose were vanilla for the bottom tier, then toffee (my favourite), then chocolate, then lemon and then fruit which we will be saving for when we have a child � We knew we wanted a very elegant but simple cake and Linda created this well for us. She included our colour scheme of light blue and peach and covered the cake with flowers of the same colours too.
Linda did our favours for us too - these were gingerbread biscuits shaped to a wedding dress and suit and oh my god these were amazing! My little cousin must have had about 5 � she put a lovely thankyou tag on with everyone’s names on and I think this finished them off.
Can’t thank you enough Linda for the service you provided, we would definitely use you again for any other cakes/biscuits in future. Can’t wait to have the rest of the cake that we have frozen when we look at our finished wedding pictures once we get back from Jamaica � More...

We ordered our wedding cake and favours from Linda after seeing her at several wedding venue open days and she always stood out from the other vendor's. We couldn't decide on one flavour, so ended up ordering different flavours per layer and we were extremely happy with the end result. In addition to the wedding cake we ordered our table favours which were small packs of ginger bread love heart's and personalised tags. As you can see from the photos, which show our wedding cake and favours along with Linda's style example cakes.
