Terrible today, waited almost 15 min to order coffee even though it wasn't very busy, tables were all dirty even though most were empty, and I ordered a cinnamon bun that had been taken out of the oven much to early. The staff had the cheek to tell me that " that's how we make them" as if I hadn't had them many times before. Very poor experience More...

From amazing cappuccinos (MUCH MUCH better than Starbucks), to cinnamon buns with decadent caramel & pecans, to a full deli and Italian grocery store, if you are a foodie, this is a place you have to visit.

Food is delicious and wonderful variety. However the kitchen staff cleanliness doesn’t seem up to code. Loose hair, disorganized and a wishy washy in there gloves and hand cross contamination.

Wow.... This is an Italian Supermarket. Guess you have figured that out from the name. It is quite big. It has been around for a long time. What is really awesome is that they have lots of imported goods from Italy. Things that you don't typically find in Canada or at a regular grocery store. I picked up something from here. I heard their hot food are very delicious. They have seatings inside. I guess lots of the items in the market are shipped by wholesalers located in BC. To me it was somewhat strange. I don't know of any big supermarket like Lina's in BC (could be that I am just out of the loop). I did see gelato from BC (I.e. Mario's and etc). During December, they are open till 8 pm. If you need to pick up anything to bring to a Christmas party or last minute gifts this is the place to go. They do have a large parking lot just out front. More...

What is there to say about this place? Quality meats and cheeses - check, sandwiches to die for - check, source for all things olive oils and balsamic vinegar - check! It may take some time to get used to some of the gruff personalities behind the counter, but they mean no harm - their bark is worse than their bite. Lina's used to be a great place to go to for their cafe, but it was more like a neighborhood place. Well, they have upped their game. Significant improvements in the cafe and all departments makes this a really appealing Italian store / cafe - I like what the new management has done.
