There are a couple of reasons I am working with and partnering with Lighthouse Web Design and Marketing. First, with our initial conversation Lighthouse listened to me and reacted to what I thought I needed in a website. I did not want anything too overwhelming but a very clean, contemporary and informative site. After they listened, they started to ask questions that I had not thought and these questions were one's I was not hearing from others. Second, we were able to build a relationship and slowly but surely build the website I thought was the right one for TL2. It is modern, it is sleek and it is informative. What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When we take on a new client we do interview them. This ensures that we have in mind what they want out of the project. A few of these questions might be: Who would you consider your competitors? What goals do you have for your website? What is the process a visitor will go through to become a customer of yours?
Describe your creative process.
Everything we do is built around the goals of our client; including the creativity process. Everything we do is to drive sales and leads for the business. We use color and attention elements to drive the visitor closer to making the decision to work with the company.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
If the client is a new business we can help make their vision a reality by creating the branding needed to stand out.
If the client has been in business, we will need logo, competitors, information about their products and/or services.
What do you love most about your job?
I like to meet new people but the thing I enjoy the most is helping the business achieve success online.
What inspired you to start your own business?
In late 2006, I made the decision to open Lighthouse to help small business owners. Aside from working for myself, I wanted to create a company that people would be proud to say they work with. From working with one business type in a given area, providing exceptional services, and bringing a transparent experience with our clients. We are an educational agency. We believe if the client understands the why as well as the how, they know they need us and will feel good about us being a part of their team.
