Ideal intimate music/arts venue with a bar. Parking in the bays outside and close to the venue is free of an evening. Seating is limited so early arrival is recommended.

Walked in during their Thursday pub quiz- you could tell this place has character and the locals love it. Excellent craft beer (on draft and in bottles/cans) and real ale selection. Loved the lighthouse lamp over the front door! More...

We went here the other Sunday for lunch and although a little bit more expensive, It absolutely gorgeous (and there was plenty of it! ). The beef was melt in the mouth and potatoes fluffy. The roast sharing boards are an excellent idea! Would definitely recommend. More...

Despite living in Deal, I haven't visited the lighthouse since it changed from The Nelson. I was persuaded to attend one of the comedy nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had an intimate atmosphere and the host made it her mission to get to know everyone. 5 different other commedians performed and for £8 it was good value. Beer was also good at a reasonable price, so will visit again. More...

Went to see a friend's band play here and had a great night. Not a big pub and a mix of people their for the gig and locals in for a pint. Decent beer and staff. Not lots of room for those of us standing in front of the band. More...
