Ali is so sweet and enthusiastic about her work. She really cares about capturing the warmth and connection between and among her subjects! She was successful getting my youthful brood to smile and make such cute and darling expressions. More...

Ali did an amazing job in incorporating the lost of our son into a picture. We lost him when he was a baby and had to recreate a vision of what we thought he would look like at 15. We wanted a picture of all 3 of our kids together, since we lost him, before our oldest was born. I can not say enough about Ali, she did an amazing job and was very patient in recreating our vision. I would highly recommend her and would definitely do business with her again. Thank you for making our heart complete and our dreams come true. Your the best and again AMAZING!!! More...

Q&As

It depends on what type of photo you are hoping to achieve. It's not a secret but for family portraits the key is having fun and being able to capture authentic smiles! For a professional headshot the key is lighting. For photos, even just the slightest amount of Photoshop can really make a good photo great - and it is required for families... have you ever really seen a family of five and the dog all looking at the camera and authentically happy at the same time? If so, please take my three kids and train them ;)

What is your inspiration for these photos? What poses do you have in mind? How much Photoshop are you ok with?

I love being able to provide joy and bringing out the best side of people. I love connecting with my clients and building relationships.

The beginning of my love of photography starts in a very dark place. My husband and I were faced with the hardest situation of our lives. Our precious baby, Zachary Conner, was born still on November 10, 2011.

On that day, a volunteer photographer from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) came to capture our first and last moments with our son – a service I didn't know existed but am so very thankful does. Fast forward a year later when we were expecting again and were nearing the finish-line. We got back in touch with the amazing NILMDTS photographer who photographed our son but this time to take maternity photos before we welcomed our healthy daughter, Vivian. She helped me get involved with NILMDTS as a Community Volunteer.

After a while, I became deeply involved with the pregnancy and infant loss community as current President of Parent Support of Puget Sound (P.S.) and Volunteer Coordinator for US/Canada for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS).

My experience volunteering in a non-photographer role for NILMDTS sparked the passion to become a skilled photographer and master the art of digital editing. I hope to make 2018 the year I continue my involvement with NILMDTS as an affiliated photographer of their high caliber.

On a lighter note, in addition to Vivian, we now also have Conner and Claire who provide me with much inspiration. There is so much love and light at the end of the tunnel and I find so much joy in sharing that light with others.

I live each day holding onto lots of hope, faith and knowing that we have a very special angel watching over us up in the starry heavens while we live our Life Under the Stars and capturing a few of the most special moments.

I'm an honest person who has a passion for photography. I want to help our community and have fun doing it. Oh, and I'm pretty good with the camera and editing software too :)
