These bad reviews could not be more wrong! I had my daughters' 4th birthday party in one of their soft playroom and it was AMAZING! I couldn't believe this huge space was reserved for only us! It had the jungle gym, a huge open space, couches for the adults, our own bathrooms, a rock-climbing wall, toy cars for the kids to ride on and a section for smaller toddlers/babies! Not to mention, everything was super neat and clean! Then, we had a party room for cake and food in a separate room within that humongous room! The staff was great and very attentive! When they opened up the rock climbing wall they had staff to supervise the kids. The food was great...my daughter is not a super fan of pizza so I asked if I could have chicken fingers and fries for her and they accommodated at no extra cost! I dropped off the decorations a few days before and they did a fantastic job with setting it up. I worked with Chelsea and Alyssa when planning the party and met Alyssa the day of the party! The entire staff was so nice and greeted each guest! Lastly, the owner Steven is so professional to work with and came to my party to greet me and my fiance. He knows how to run his business! 5-star place and staff! I highly recommend! I would definitely do another party there any time! We had a school graduation party at Life. It was amazing. Steve and the team were well prepared for 150 8th graders. Everyone was safe, happy and entertained. The DJ and MC kept everyone engaged in the party. All over a great experience. I highly recommend this venue. More...

This is the first time & probably the last time that I am glad that Yelp was wrong .We celebrated the birthday of our child & we were impressed & very grateful from the help we received during the whole process . Chelsea , Alyssa & Abby were all patient & gracious during the whole process . Our party turned out to be a bit bigger than we were prepared for & our room was upgraded without additional charges . We even overstayed by 30 min & we never felt that we were being rushed out . On my case , I will gladly book my next event there again . Thank you again Chelsea & Team . More...

Ok, let's cut through some of these less than positive reviews...I hosted my girls' B'Not Mitzvah at Life. I had my choice of every venue and selected Life because it was what my children wanted. This is an unparalleled venue in all of NY, forget Westchester alone. Like many mothers wanting the closest thing to perfection we can get for our kids, I read the reviews and called Steven Zuckerman (owner) about some comments pre signing a contract. Not only did Steven address every concern, I knew I was in the right hands to host our most special party. My standards are high and Life exceeded them. Not only do they care, their team will go above and beyond everything you could ask for. Sharon Zuckerman is sheer class who creates events with care and creativity. We recently held our son's Bar Mitzvah at Life and it was the party of a lifetime. We could not have been happier. The whole team at life - Steven, Betty, Miranda, Woo, Nathan, Denise and all else were on target, professional, easy to work with - they provided ideas, timelines, support and guidance every step of the way. From the planning to the extra "add-ons" to the amazing food, decor, service and presentation - both adults and kids had such an amazing time. And we were thrilled to have been there. My children have been attending parties at life since they opened their doors years ago! My twins are now 16 and we have fabulous memories of open playtime there and everything else they offered the children of Westchester! I love LIFE! the place to be. You dream it, they deliver it. Have no dreams of your own, no problem, they have plenty. This space morphs into anything you need- formal, casual, themes. It suits the young (perfectly) and the old(happily). From intimate to enormous. More importantly, this is a family owned business so their hearts are all in. Steve and Sharon Zuckerman are the perfect blend of creative and organized, calming and (just a little) crazy. They are respectful of budgets and deliver way more then you would ever imagine. A one stop shop for everything event. From a first birthday party, to a mitzvah, charity events, even a wedding. There's nothing they can't do and do well. We hired this dynamic team for our one of a kind bat mitzvah. No matter the "ask", the answer was always the same, "okay, we got this." As a result, my daughter's bat mitzvah is still the highlight of her life and ours. We suspect it will go down as the top three life events along with her wedding and her first child! I had my 6 year old daughter’s birthday party at your venue back in February. I was honestly blown away by your staff and how attentive and lovely and easy to work with they all are. From our first contact, which was with Lisa, who called me back from home in the middle of a snow storm, (coincidently my last pre party contact from Chelsea also came in the middle of a snow storm! But I will rave about her too in a bit), she made planning this party SO easy! My sassy little girl wanted, and I quote, “a runway fashion dance party!”. I didn’t think this was even a possibility, a fun idea definitely, but I didn’t think anyone did anything like that! A quick Google search and, wait, really Yup, your venue does something like this!! I still had no idea what to expect and honestly I expected chaos... over 20 children, ages 2-8. I don’t care what the theme, it will probably be chaos. Apparently, NOT AT YOUR VENUE! This is a testament to your staff, who all worked together and ran this party like it was an everyday request! This kind of party should be your bread and butter! Your whole staff was like a well oiled machine and blew this party out of the water! I want to call each member of your staff out by name because you are blessed and lucky to have these wonderful people working for you! Delano the Dancing MC (the energy this amazing man had was beyond expectations! I can't say enough! Kept them all thoroughly entertained for hours!) DJ Phil (played all their favorite songs and kept them all dancing!) Host Cassandra (from the moment we walked in she explained and had every minute planned and was so wonderful with any requests. Absolutely lovely!) Host assistants Jason & Patricia (Again, they couldn't have been any more wonderful! Keeping every guest happy!) Lisa (she was my first contact to see if this crazy idea of a party was even possible and she assured me that not only was it possible but that it was so EASY to plan!!) And last but certainly not least, Chelsea (called in the middle of a second snow storm to set up every last minute detail, whatever little wish list I or my daughter had to make sure her day was beyond perfect!) Recently had my daughters 4th birthday party at LIFE and it was fantastic! The kids all had an amazing time. We have gone to play there before and my kids (now 5, 4 and 2) always had fun. But the party was really one step above what I expected. I would have given it 5 stars but although the staff was more then attentive to details with the running of the party I would have liked them to interact more with the children.  They style of party I chose may have made this difficult though. The price was also bit high but it was very well done so I understand the cost and all the extra food ordered (in addition to the included pizza) was delicious. Almost everyone invited contacted me to tell me how nice it was. I really don't understand the bad reviews, esp the ones about parties. More...
