I don't know why I am even bothering with a review. She will argue all claims I make as she does with all other negative reviews. I was promised 6 classes and every single one has been cancelled by her since July. It is now 2 weeks into September. I have not been able to attend a single one of them. My dogs behavior have not changed one bit. She talked about the importance of follow up classes to ensure behavioral changes. How does that even work if I cannot attend the classes? This weeks excuse was being bummed out about poor weather... She does classes both inside and outside depending on weather. All it takes is a few people canceling group class and she gives up. So what if only a few people show up? We paid for the service... She was paid weather people show up or not! I have no resources to continue with my dogs training and she has $3000 I have given her. If she wants me to go off just the tips I was given by her to get my dogs fully trained, I might has well done a Google search instead of paying someone to tell me what to do More...

Kim stole $4000.00 from us!!!! (She is Not Endorsed by the BBB) Watch your money because she will steal from you: she has already lost one small claims court for taking money and dog was not trained. She promised us if we are not satisfied with her services we could get a refund... and that never happened! We have 2 puppies and we sent out several emails to several different dog trainers and she convinced us she was the trainer for us. She said $2,000.00 per puppy to train: we gave her a check for $4000.00 in November 2020 and by mid December she asked if we could continue training after Christmas and after the first of the year: and of course we are nice people and said ok...we will start after the new year. Kim called and asked if we could do training around 7:30 to 8:30pm which was not OK because my husband had a stroke earlier that year and goes to bed early...and She knew this. Long story short this in April of 2021 my husband and got laid off on the same day! Wow.. that hurt and my dogs are still not trained. I have a text saying to her "it is April and we paid you $4000.00 In November and my dogs are still not TRAINED...she never responded. Well that must be admission of guilt because she knew she only FINISHED potty training the Babies and nothing else...she bought items for us to try out to keep them from barking (We paid her $4000.00 for her to purchase items for us to train our Puppies) November 2020 to April 2021 and she still did not do her job. Kim has already has already lost one small claims court and she will lose this one too. I have WARNED ALL OF WHAT SHE DID TO US. She knew we got laid off and still took advantage of us and stole our money. Please don't make the same mistake we did. More...

Terrible, DO NOT GO HERE! I opted for the 4 week board and train as well as service dog training for my 16 week old shepherd, I asked what I should expect when he gets home Kim said "a totally different dog"
Yep that's what I got, my dog back with new bad habits, 5 weeks later. The service was supposed to come with 4 follow up training sessions, I got one.
I told her I was extremely dissatisfied and would like to envoke the "guarantee" she stated she had which was
"I stick with my clients until the end, if you aren't happy we will come out and do more training or I will take him back for another 4 weeks".
She then told me "we have done our part, if he isn't trained then it's because of you and your follow through"
Funny thing about that was she hadn't finished with her side of the contract which was four follow up sessions!
So I had my credit card company reverse her fee. I had to tell my side of the story to her credit card company and they agreed with me and returned my money.

Well a month later Kim sued me and I had to go to small claims court in front of a judge. The judge also agreed with me and she lost that lawsuit.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I gave Life is Pawsible one star but I wish I could’ve given zero. I went to drop off my puppy to board and train her and the living situation for all of the animals there was in humane. It was a small home that was filthy and had crates crammed and stacked on top of each other packed full of dogs. We payed Kim the owner our deposit of $750 2 weeks prior to our dogs training start date and agreed to pay the remainder when she had completed training. As we dropped our dog off and had seen the environment we decided very quickly we did not want to put our dog or anyone else’s dog In that situation. We requested our deposit back because we immediately took our dog and she had performed no training or boarding services for us. She then replied saying our deposit was non refundable. We immediately checked all of our text messages and every business platform she has and there are no mentions of the deposit being non refundable. I would NOT recommend life is pawsible to anyone. That inhumane environment is not okay for anyone’s pet. More...

Kim is a knowledgable trainer, but she lacks organization and communication skills. We had 5 sessions with her and she was late for 4 of the 5 sessions. She called at the last minute and said that she would be another 30 minutes, hour, multiple hours. She cancelled sessions on me several times, all of them last minute. She needed more workers and had too big of a workload for herself, but still, that is a lack of organizational skills that heavily affects her clients.
I was understanding of the circumstances, but it resulted in inconsistent training for my dog and I took measures into my own hands. I decided to discontinue sessions with her and I had paid for 7 sessions. I sent her messages FIVE different times about being refunded over the span of three months and I still have not been refunded. I don't expect to be. GOODBYE $140.
Kim claims to have truly positive training. This is the farthest statment from the truth. I do feel that her training can be affective, especially with aggressive dogs, but she has a very forceful approach. She doesn't use e collars or prong collars, to each their own, but she uses gentle leaders. There's nothing gentle about the way she uses them. She put it on my four month old puppy and forced him to heel. She'll tug on it and she even pulled my dog up and escalator with it. Pulling on a gentle leader especially with force can cause permanent damage to the dog. The gentle leader is designed so that any small movement can be felt by the dog and can be a great communication source. Likewise, e collars and prong collars when used appropriately can be an amazing communication between handler and dog.
I would first get a dog used to the gentle leader/desensitize them to it with treats, getting them used to wearing it, then walking with it, and NEVER forcefully pull on it.
Needless to say, she is a very forceful trainer. She is good with dogs, but I wouldn't go to her unless you have an aggressive dog that's on the verge of being put down. She will knock your dog out of it for sure, but even then, beware that the scheduling may be inconsistent.

When we first got our puppy, I was pretty sure we had made a mistake because I could not see how we were ever going to make her easy to live with. Honestly, I wasn't sure it was even really possible for an average person with average amounts of time to train a dog well. Kim made it seem practical and doable, and I appreciated her coming to our house with all of our craziness to see what kind of environment our puppy lives in. After 9 weeks, Nellie is well on her way to being a perfect family pet. Kim has given me the confidence to handle my dog in lots of different situations, and I know if there's a behavior that I can't figure out, I can text her for help. More...

We feel so lucky to have found Kim! Being first time dog owners we were overwhelmed with all of the new responsibilities that came our way. We were way in over our heads with trying to train our new addition! That’s when we found Kim! Kim is a phenomenal trainer! She devotes her time and energy to each dog and helps them through their particular problem areas. Kim is easy to get a hold of when needed and is always prompt and timely when we have our private lessons scheduled! She goes out of her way to pick up, deliver or order anything we may need when it comes to our dog! Not only is Kim one of the most talented trainers she is one of the most KIND, LOYAL, HONEST and LOVING person I have ever met! She is always going above and beyond for others and she has never asked for anything in return but to see the smile on others faces when they are able to communicate with their pet!....thanks to Kim I am now a PROUD dog owner(never in a million years would I ever have thought I’d say that)!

We took two of our rescue dogs to Kim when we first got them, because the Momma was a bit protective of her pup, who we also adopted! We named them Lily and Cash! Lily was VERY high strung and active, but we were determined to help her! She was only a year old, and was a stray! Kim was amazing with Lily! She showed us how to take charge and show Lily who's the boss with love, not fear! Lily didn't like anyone but us, and she fell in love with Kim! We had our dogs with Kim for about 10 weeks! It was the best decision we ever made! They learned potty training, walking on a leash, no barking at other dogs, come when called, etc! But most of all, Lily learned trust in another human being, which was HUGE!! Thanks Kim!! More...

I have worked with a wide variety of animals my entire life from dogs to horses, but when my heeler started showing some fear aggression to my boyfriend's puppy, I became really frustrated. Kim was able to come and do several private sessions with my girl and the puppy and I was also able to take my girl to group classes. I've seen a lot of improvement, the biggest being that my heeler and the puppy get along great now. I've witnessed many times what would seem like the impossible become possible in her classes and it's all centered around positivity. We haven't been to class in a while due to me changing jobs and starting school, but once I free up my schedule a bit more, I'm definitely taking my girl back. More...
