I am passionate about what I do and I love helping people to become happier and more contented with themselves and their lives, for me there is nothing more rewarding that seeing people becoming contented and happy within themselves and the world that they live in.

If you choose me to be your coach will work with you on an emotional level first because I believe that when we feel the way we want to feel we are better able to do the things that we want to do. My mission is to help you to discover how you can feel and respond to your world in a way that feels right to you.

I have spent the last decade or so studying many Positive Phycology approaches to enable me to flex and respond to you personally. There is no scripted approach to the way I work.

I offer a free Discovery Session so that you can meet me (Personally at Forever House, Tunbridge Wells Kent or via phone/skype) and experience my coaching style before you decide that I am the right coach for you (or not)

In addition to the Personal Coaching I am also an experienced Trainer and I love to share some of the things I have learnt from the world of Positive Phycology as part of fun and interactive workshops including: Laughter, Physiology or Positivity, Power of Positive Words, an Introduction to Coaching Skills and many more. These workshop form part of the Positivity Program (A monthly workshop help in Tunbridge Wells Kent) but are also available to form part of bespoke trainings and wellbeing events that you might wish to run/host.

What do you love most about your job?

I am passionate about what I do and I love helping people to become happier and more contented with themselves and their lives, for me there is nothing more rewarding that seeing people becoming contented and happy within themselves and the world that they live in.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I am blessed to do work I love and the reason I do this work is because there was a time when I felt a long way from happy and confident. I used to doubt myself, I was nervous, insecure and to be honest I didn’t much like myself. I would compare myself to others and never felt I was quite good enough. (Does any of this sound familiar?)
Fortunately I was lucky enough to stumble on a few self-help books and this is where my coaching journey began. (Thank you to Fiona Harrold and her book “Be Your Own Life Coach”) I started to question the way I was experiencing the world. I began to set goals and challenge myself and bit by bit I discovered that I am capable of more than I had ever realised (as are you too!) I set goals and achieved them I chose to look for the good in myself and others and life began to feel different. I felt freer, more confident, more able and therefore had a go at doing more.
Well a lot of time has passed and now I am glad to say that I am happier and more content than I ever thought possible with a sense of inner peace with me most of the time, even through tough moments that of course we all experience at times.
My goal now is to help other people discover how they too can feel happier and more contented within their world. I have spent the last decade or so studying many positive Phycology approaches that enable me to support others to move through negative and unhelpful emotional experiences and events to find new way of being that enable them3 to feel and respond to their world in a way that feels right to them (And……. of course what feels right to one person may be different to anther so being able to adapt to each client personally is essential)

My coaching approach is a blend of methodologies. I call myself a Life Coach because I think this is a term most people can relate to but I use a variety of methodologies as well as Coaching Skills to enable me to be best able to meet your needs. The lead methodologies I use include:

Positivity Program

Positivity Program Life is full of waves and turns and it can be easy to become absorbed by thinking and behavioural habits that are less helpful and leave you feeling a long way from your best. This practice group is designed to reconnect you with the positive stuff and give you information that will help you to reawaken your natural intuitive positivity. Course Overview: This monthly positivity practice is your chance to explore and practice techniques to bring more positivity into your life and the lives of those around you. In this monthly group you will have the chance to explore different ideas, thoughts, methodologies, and techniques from the world of positive psychology and develop your ability to take a positive approach to life bringing more joy to you, your life and the lives of those you interact with. Workshop objectives: • Learn about different theories and methodologies and techniques from the world of positive psychology • Discuss what works and discover why and how • Meet with likeminded positive people • Explore alternative ways of thinking and being • Practice taking a positive approach to life If you do what you have always done you will get what you have always got Course content: These workshops are fun and interactive there will be discussions and activities as a group and you will also work in smaller groups and pairs. Please come with an open mind and a willingness to share and explore new approaches. We will begin each session by recapping on the previous month and hearing the feedback on how others have implemented what they learnt. Location: Forever House, Harmony Street, Tunbridge Wells. Laughter Yoga

Life is better when you laugh; in fact everything feels better with a smile on your face. We mistakenly assume that we need to feel happy to laugh, when the truth is that laughing will make us feel happy. The body actually doesn’t know the difference between real and simulated laughter. Children naturally laugh hundreds of times a day but as we grow older if we laugh on average ten times a day we are doing well. Laughter workshops give you the opportunity to wake up your chuckle muscles, and the more you use them the stronger they get, and the easier it is to fall into a natural hearty laugh. Laughter workshops stimulate your ability to laugh and experience joy and happiness. This feel-good feeling does not stay in the classroom but extends into your life and, as laughter is contagious, your joyfulness will also spread those around you. Laughter Yoga overview: This is a fun and active workshop that will have a dramatic impact on how positive you feel and the amount of laughter you experience in your day-to-day life (especially when attended regularly). Much research has been carried out into the powerful effect laughter has on the body and mind. Laughter is known to be a great pain reliever as well as boosting the immune system and brain function, and most of all it makes you feel great! It is an amazing way to relieve stress and express emotions (even the negative ones). By the end of the workshop you will feel calm, refreshed and rejuvenated, and by revisiting these positive behaviours by attending laughter workshops regularly, you will notice a distinct shift in your wellbeing. Laughter Yoga Workshop will help you to: • Feel lighter, brighter with increased happiness • Release feel good hormones - endorphins • Be physically active, helping to improve circulation • Develop positive thinking strategies • Practice alternative responses to situations • Feel calmer and more relaxed • Have fun and laugh Course content: This program is based on a combination of Laughter Yoga and NLP games and techniques, to work with you physiologically and psychologically, developing your ability feel happy and joyful. The sessions are powerful and the fast pace keeps you very much in the moment. All you need to enjoy this Laughter Yoga Workshop is willingness to laugh and a childlike playfulness. For an hour you will forget the rest of the world and allow yourself to relax and engage with your inner child. Using some simple breathing techniques and taking part in a variety of laughter exercises you will re-energise your body. The session ends with lying down for free-fall laughter (you have to experience this) followed by a guided relaxation. You will feel refreshed and relaxed, ready to go out into the world with an increased ability to experience laughter. During the workshop you will take part in a lot of games and activities, and it best to wear clothes that you can move freely in.

Laughter Yoga Leaders Training (with Advanced Skills)

The 3 Day Laughter Yoga Leaders Training with Advanced Skills By the end of this course you will have the skills needed to Lead Laughter Sessions with groups and/or run your own Laughter Club/s. You will also attain the recognised Laughter Yoga Leaders Certificate. This layered laughter learning will provide you with sufficient awareness to fully understand laughter; including the necessary skills of how to effectively lead and facilitate laughter sessions. In addition, you will also begin to realise why laughter has such a positive impact on the body and mind. Course content: Completing the full Laughter Yoga Leaders training and gaining the skills and knowledge of how to lead Laughter Sessions; will qualify you as a Laughter Yoga Leader. We will have fun exploring the wonderful world of gibberish and seeing how this can be utilised within your laughter group, and as a means of fun play and an emotional release. You will discover how to plan a variety of laughter sessions and learn how to adapt your delivery to fit within differing times, and to meet the needs of groups within their different abilities. You will learn and apply the Physiology of Positivity and how the way that we move our body, influences how we think and feel. By learning how the movements used in the laughter sessions, you will realise the impact on the physiological responses of the body and discover how sharing this information can help people make positive changes in their world. Your Learning Experience: This course is FUN! You will laugh a lot, and of course LAUGHTER is the main purpose of the course, because we first need to bring more laughter into our world before we effectively facilitate laughter with others. Please be prepared to ache. Your face will ache from smiling and your tummy will ache from Laughing. Who is this training suitable for? Everyone! If you want to laugh more yourself or if you want to share laughter with others on a personal or professional level then this is the great course for you. It’s fun, lively and interactive and of course you also get to qualify in a new skill too. (Please note: You do need to be able to laugh for extended periods) + You have the option for an additional Free day: Laughter Club and Laughter Blaster (Laughter Leaders Learning event). You are also very welcome to stay and connect with other Laughter leaders and learn from their experiences. Fee: 1.
