It's hard to review the experience that your dog had while you weren't there, but as far as I can tell our dog had a blast for the week we boarded her here. The staff was very friendly and told us that she really enjoyed herself. The extra activities like swimming in the pool and hiking were exactly the kind of things she loves to do. So this was a great alternative to traditional boarding, though a bit out of the way for us. Obviously that's not their fault. Our dog came back very exhausted, which tells me she got plenty of exercise. Would definitely use them again for extended boarding. More...

Liberty Hill Pet Resort (“LHPR”) with Mary Ann as the owner offer many canine activities at their Fauquier County location. Our Weimaraners and I over the last 15+ years have participated in many activities including dozens of doggy play dates, several puppy classes, obedience classes, swimming, barn hunts, agility, dock diving, and more. I have always observed LHPR’s staff taking very good care of their borders and students during our play dates and at their classes. Their staff has always been very helpful and professional to me during check-ins, check-outs or while purchasing toys, food, treats, etc. Mary Ann and her staff are intuitive to their clients’ (the dogs!) needs and help the dogs meet their individual exercise requirements, have “safe-space” playmates, and important daytime naps in a secure, caring and loving resort farm.
