I was referred to Liberty Gate by a friend and fellow landlord who raved about the personal service he had experienced. I made contact with David Thomas and discussed my situation with him. As a landlord with some properties in Nottingham we were looking to free up some time by possibly passing some stock to an agent rather than managing it ourselves. David very politely pointed out that we were achieving rents that were several years out of date. He took on a property as it became vacant, let it in 48 hours at a considerably higher rent than we had been achieving and removed completely the necessity for our involvement. My initial scepticism was proved to be misplaced. All staff we have dealt with at Liberty Gate have been supremely efficient, polite and effective. After me and my wife moved into the UK, I was a bit concerned about renting ourselves an apartment as I had heard of all the hassles my friends/colleagues had to go through during the renting process as well as moveout. But then I got onboarded with Liberty Gate and without any doubt I could say they're the best in the business. Starting from our move - in, everything was so simple and easy. During our stay, they were prompt and on point of anything I asked (resolved any issues in minimum time). During our move-out, which is probably the hardest part for any tenant, they made it very easy and comfortable from us. The team at Liberty Gate, is the driving force which has taken them to the top. Bought a house recently that was marketed by Liberty Gate. All the staff we have dealt with were very friendly and professional throughout. There was no hard sell, just good communication and personal service without any quibbles. Much better than another Nottingham based agent we had been dealing with who did not seem to consider the buyer as a valued customer and messed us about on several properties.We have also used Liberty Gate to market our apartment for rental and they have found us a tenant within 2 - 3 weeks - again very good personalized service and communication throughout the process. I'm a tenant in a shared house let by Liberty Gate, and I've been really impressed with the service.

They have been quick to react to maintenance issues in the house and have a good online system for electronically logging requests.

Not only this but I lost my keys and was locked out of my room on a Sunday. I contacted Liberty Gate and within 30 minutes someone had arrived to open my room for me and give me a spare key. They also arranged to pick up the keys once they had been found and dropped them off outside my room the very next day. More...

We use Liberty Gate to manage our apartment for my husband & I. We find them excellent to deal with - professional & friendly all the time. The best thing is that Liberty Gate have taken all the stress out of looking after the apartment ourselves; so for one affordable monthly fee we don't have the worry in finding a tenant or dealing with any breakdowns. I would definitely recommend Liberty Gate to anyone thinking pf selling their property. I recently moved and I have never experienced such helpful, professional and genuine estate agents. I had had my house on the market for over 14 weeks and had heard nothing. David came along re took the photos, listed my property as a premium property and within a week I had a viewing. The whole process from start to end was smooth, easy and they kept me updated and mostly it was quick. It meant that I got to move into my dream cottage that I thought I was going to lose. I can't thank Liberty Gate enough for what they have done for me. Paul and David are amazing at what they do. I had my property on the market with Robert Ellis for over 16 weeks and had received only one offer, which was well under the asking price. When my contract was up with them, I took it off the market and re marketed with Liberty Gate. If i'm honest I haven't experienced customer service quite like the service Paul and David gave me during my time with them. Within three days of being on the market with Liberty Gate they had booked 10 viewings. Within a week I had 4 offers on the property, two above the asking price! Liberty gate literally did more in a day than my previous agent had done in 4 months. I ending up accepting an offer 2.5 k above the asking price. My previous agent told me I would never get that money. (shows what they know) Let me give you 5 reasons why you should chose Liberty Gate to sell your house: 1. Professionalism. Paul and David are super professional. Not only do they run the business but they handle all the viewings. You can also contact them at any time and they get back to you straight away without fail. 2. Marketing. There marketing is unique and they know how to market your property to sell it but not just sell it, sell it for the market value or more. 3. They are an independent, small team, so they understand your needs as an individual. You don't get passed around from one person to the next like you would with a larger agent. 4. They are honest. They don't give you any BS. They tell you what you will get and deliver on what they say. If they don't think they can get a certain price they will tell you. Also if they think can get more they will tell you. 5. Customer service. As i mentioned above, the service I received from Liberty Gate was the best service I've ever received, across any service.
