What do you love most about your job?
It is hard being a creative person in a 9-5 job that doesn't allow for creative ideas to flow. Aside from making my own hours (which is great), I also get to make a difference for people with powerful, emotionally charged words. I get to be creative and intuitive.
I love working with start-ups who are excited about where their businesses are going and I have a blast with small businesses who are ready to step outside the safety net and grow into the vision they set for themselves when they started.
There is something intrinsically valuable knowing that something you wrote was of importance and value to someone else.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Starting a business is a leap of faith. You know you are good at what you do. You know you offer something better than most. You know there isn't anything else you can see yourself doing so you go for it.
I was inspired to start my own business because the writing I saw across the internet was crap. Seriously. It was terrible. People were filling their websites with words and pictures that had absolutely no value. Site after site I read bad articles and saw misspellings on website pages. The landing pages did nothing for a visitor. In fact , many of those websites turned them away.
Bad writing gives the company a bad image. Mediocre writing gives the company an average image. Great writing gives the company an impressive "oh, I want you," image.
Knowing this and seeing how much bad writing was out there, I decided I could help take people to the next level of their business the right way. So I started doing it.
It's funny how different things in life can inspire us to be the best at something.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Since I work remotely so this does not apply to me. I would keep customers safe if I saw them in person by wearing a mask.
