Hello and welcome to my profile. I am a qualified and experienced counsellor working to provide support to individuals who want to discuss any issues that may be affecting them. You may be considering counselling for a variety of reasons; it could be due to anxiety, relationship difficulties, family issues, depression, suicidal thoughts, bereavement, or any number of other issues. It might be because you want someone to talk to or maybe as a parent / carer you simply don’t know where to turn and are worried about someone you care about. I can support you or them to make sense of feelings in a safe and confidential environment.

I have experience counselling children, teenagers and young adults who are feeling overwhelmed by their emotions and struggling to manage. I also work with adults and families when they have had a cancer diagnosis, and with people who have experienced loss and or bereavement.

I provide a non-judgmental and reflective space for you to explore your experiences and I will support you to make sense of how you feel, we work at your pace in a safe and confidential environment. As an integrative counsellor I can provide short and longer term therapy using an approach which draws on many theories and concepts of counselling, so it suits you. My aim is for you to feel happy and hopeful for the future and not to need to see me anymore.

I have worked in primary and secondary schools, with vulnerable, scared and anxious children providing counselling, and I currently work as a 6th form counsellor at a school in Sunningdale. I am also a counsellor at a cancer support centre based at West Middlesex Hospital where I see cancer patients and their families.

Taking the first step can be daunting so finding the right counsellor is very important. I offer a reduced fee for the initial session to give us the opportunity to meet and see if we feel comfortable working together.
