Nice pub. Clean and tidy with good selection of beers and lagers on tap. A good menu with a specific meat free menu too making it easier to order for those that don't want meat. Food is keenly priced as well.If you're in the hotel nearby I'd recommend the 10 minute walk to here. More choice and better prices. More...

Great little pub.Friendly staff, lovely food and clean & tidy throughout.Food was great, four of us ordered and there were 4 clean plates at the end. Desserts are amazing!Good selection of drinks with plenty of offers on food and drink all through the week.Pay for the 3 hours in the car park next door and get your money back when you order food.Kids and pets friendly and a short walk from the castle. The Lewis provided great pub grubI had lunch at the Lewis Arms on Monday the 25th of February as I rushed between appointments. The food was simple, but well cooked and the environment was perfect for me to sit and relax while eating my food and enjoying my book.The Nachos were a nice spicy start and the mixed grill had a lovely selection of meat. It might have helped to have a bigger plate for the Mixed Grill so it wasn't piled up so high, but that didn't affect the flavours or the enjoyment. More...
