What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Being able to read the crowd. Some crowds enjoy the classics and the party tunes and some crowds like a more specific playlist. Building a good relationship with the client can help this and having a good repertoire with the crowd all makes for a good night.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Flexible and easy to work with. Happy to cater to all styles of party, from large 250+ corporate functions to small intimate weddings and being prepared for anything to happen on the night.
What do you love most about your job?
People's reaction on the dance floor when you drop that song you've been waiting to play all week. When the bride tells you at the end of the night that everything was great and she had the best time and you know you were a part of that, that is what makes a great night.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Started helping my dad doing karaokes after he was filling in for someone else. He got busy, then I did some on my own and we started this together. The original Lew Ritchie
