There is an authenticity to Leslie's photographs that sets her apart from the pack. After receiving my photos I was pleased to see that they actually looked like me! Ironic I know, but something that is lost in many of the quick photography moments of our time. Leslie captured my spirit and not the version of me I wished I looked like. As someone who rarely takes professional photos, Leslie guided me through the process and made me feel like a star. Arranging for separate make up/wardrobe assistance is a must as you need someone to really help you gather yourself during the shoot and worry about things so that you don't have to. I knew Leslie was the right person to photograph my 14 year old daughter from the moment I spoke to her. Leslie was the first and only photographer to call me and speak to me instead of just emailing. As a nervous mother, this was essential in establishing trust levels. After an hour on the phone, we set up an appointment to meet so my daughter and she could become acquainted. Leslie made her feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. She explained the process of the day and took us on the step by step journey. During the shoot, Leslie was attentive, creative and encouraging. She helped my daughter feel at ease and be her quirky little self. Leslie continued to help us and walked me through each step of the selection and editing process. I would recommend Leslie to ANY and EVERYONE!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HEAD SHOTS!!!! She's one of the few photographers I have worked with that goes the extra mile in every department. Leslie Hassler is such a talented and fun photographer to work with! My daughter and I saw and experienced how a true professional works. In a few hours she was able to deliver over 500 great shots and the hardest part was picking the best ones. Leslie captures the essence of the person quickly, while still helping novices, such as my daughter pose to her advantage. She works quickly and precisely I was very impressed. I mean this with complete sincerity... these are, without a shadow of a doubt, the best head shots I have ever had. I recalled going through all the photos in the past from other photographers and never finding a single one that made me say “YES!
” I always had to settle for one or two that I knew I wasn’t truly excited about, and I cringed having to send them out to agents and casting directors. Yet... there were over a dozen in the collection I received today from all the photos from Leslie's session that made me jump out of my seat in ecstasy! I have never had a head shot that truly caught my essence… until today.
