How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Firstly look around your street and see if anyone has converted their garage.
Get in touch with your council planning office and ask if you need planning permission or permitted development drawings
get drawings and apply for either of these if required

Removal of garage doors and frame
dig out footings to council building control requirement,concrete and build up brickwork to window height ,fit window
all internal works as required by customer, keep site clean and tidy at all times
Keep customer of progress on a daily basis
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
See if other houses in the road have been converted
you will need a minimum height in your existing loft of apprx 2.5m from existing ceiling joists to underside of the ridge board

Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Apply to council for either full planning permission or permitted development,[ with structural drawings]
If your house is semi detached or terraced you will need a party wall agreement with your neighbors
When these are approved you can then commence work.
first of all erect scaffolding,then we install the steelwork and floor joists, followed by the construction of the dormer followed by the first fix plumbing electrics etc the construct internal walls, insulate, lay flooring, fit staircase plasterboard and plaster.then second fix carpentry work and decorate keeping site clean and tidy at all times
