We booked a taxi in advance for 7 people as we had a table booked in town. We had confirmation from Leo's in advance. Then 2 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, we got a phone call saying saying driver was "stuck in traffic", which is totally understandable and he said he would be 7 minutes at a maximum.
He then called again and said his "engine has broken down and he is stuck. He will try and call a friend". 5 minutes later when I rang him to enquire as to whether he had found another driver, he said "now I've broken my hand."
So for this driver, it was either the worst day he's ever had, or he is a very good liar... Either way, Leo taxis were completely unhelpful and we eventually phoned A1 to get us there. Who also confirmed that £40 is the standard charge for an 8 seater into town, not £60. So looks like we were being ripped off too! Luckily the restaurant in town allowed us to be 1 hour late, but this service fell short of all expectations and we will never be using them again. I hope you don't make the same mistake we did!

Me and my friends would like to thank Andy, the driver, for helping us carry my friend's loads of bags yesterday. He didn't even asked for a tip even though we are happy for his service and we would like to give him extra money for his kindness. He said he is happy to help any of his clients and would like to pass his act of kindness to anyone without expecting any monetary return. Leo taxi is very efficient and safe.
