We stayed in the lodges. They were very clean and comfortable. WiFi is a bit patchy and the lighting in the lodges could be improved. Other than that they are very well equipped. The location is lovely and close to a pretty small town with supermarkets and small shops. Plenty of places to eat in the area too. More...

I have to say I am massively impressed with this place. The Lodge is perfect warm. And cozy with superb views all round, good access from. The road a small car park. Close to the lodge and the staff are so friendly. We came for a party at a relatives house nearby with 5 of us traveling from Manchester. Very easy to find and Alan was so pleasent when we arrived making us aware of everything we needed. WiFi is included and has a decent signal even though its quite rural. The cabin looks stuning and the living room sofas are really comfy. The double bedroom is extreamly comfy with a vanity sink in and the twin was also very Co. Fy and plenty of room for two adults. The sofa bed is OK but as with most sofa beds not as comfy as a bed but more than adequate. The kitchen has everything we needed I clouding fridge cooker with grill washing machine and dish washer. There is a kids activity area to the rear and the bathroom has a huge bath and shower which was surprising. I can't say enough good thingd the whole experience was superb from. Start to finish and non of us wanted to leave. More...

We had a lovely stay in one of the Leny Estate lodges. We were welcomed by Alan, the Estate Manager, and shown into our lodge. It was a little chillly, but soon heated up and stayed warm and cosy. The lodge was well appointed with a well equipt kitchen with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge with a small freezer compartment and dishwasher; nice Denby crockery too. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding very good quality. The only things that would be have been useful to have had was a bar of soap at the bedroom sink as well as in the bathroom and an ice cube tray (for the g&t....). Shower gel/ shampoo are not provided so guests should remember to take some. Lovely quiet location; the driveway is half a mile long and is unlit, so the torch was useful. Walking to the centre of town took us 17 minutes. More...

All of the accommodation was brilliant - we were in the North Wing, a very comfortable, clean and spacious place to stay. The lodges were highly rated by our friends and the cottages and Leny Lodge were also excellent. The views are stunning and it is a lovely place to be and so close to Callander. We have just returned from a stay in Orchard cottage. We visited as a family of 3, including a 10 year old. The cottage was absolutely amazing. Plenty of space inside and out side. It was so well equipped we needn’t have left! It has been recently re decorated to a very high standard. ||The cottage is just outside of Callander village which has everything you could wish for in local shops, restaurants and bars including quirky shops selling local products as well as a co-op and Tesco express. |There is a wonderful pub serving delicious Scottish meals the Lade Inn at the bottom of the drive, slightly to far to walk but ample parking. ||The cottage is well appointed for loads of activities in fact we were out everyday all day and still could have stayed another week. Plenty of activities for young and old including golf courses and walks. In the evening we were able to chill doing puzzles in the sun room whilst watching the sun set or watching a DVD in front of the wood burner. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, we definitely hope to return in the foreseeable future. More...

We had an absolutely brilliant time at the cabins which we had booked all of them out at one time. As we were very lucky with the weather over the weekend we spent all our time outside, and the playpark was a big hit for all kids between the ages 2-12. The verandas were excellent for socialising and the fixed seating was great for outside dining. The cabin itself was clean and spacious. From a personal point of view it would have been handy to have access to the park from both ends/behind each cabin but actually it kept the kids well contained when they had to come back past the front of the cabins. The various seating options next to the park were very handy as well to congregate. More...

The log burner is fabulous and you are provided with plenty of logs just outside the back door. Spent a lovely weekend with our two teenage sons in the Campbell Lodge. The Lodge, in the beautiful grounds of the Leny estate, was cosy and well equipped and is in an ideal location for exploring the Trossachs. Lots of lovely walks. The wifi was a little temperamental which was an added bonus for me as my sons took their noses out of their mobile phones for a while! Stayed in early September in the Leny Lodge - accommodation that allows dogs. It was very picturesque, original a gatehouse to the estate so close to the entrance. It had its own private and secure garden area with a burn running through it which our dog loved jumping into. The kitchen was very well appointed, the lounge/diner comfortable and the bedrooms very comfortable, spacious and had sufficient storage. Bathroom had shower but no bath. Everywhere was very clean and on a wider scale the estate was well presented and maintained as well. We didn't light the log burner as the property was lovely and warm without it being on. Located on the northern edge of Callander, on the main road through the town, it was ideal for setting off into the Trossachs. Tescos and Coop stores in the town were handy, (good reductions in late afternoon as well). We had a lovely time and the accommodation contributed to this in no small part.
