We had the pleasure of having Leigh as our wedding photographer and are so pleased with the images he captured of both us and our guests on our wedding day. They will make really fond memories in the years to come. We were lucky enough to have a trial shoot in London where we live which was a brilliant way to get to know Leigh more and also for him to understand what we did/didn't like in terms of having our pictures taken. I would thoroughly recommend this for any couples as it not only helps you get to know your photographer more but helps them get to know you. We had a fun day out around London with Leigh and Renata and this made it really clear to us we had definitely made the right decision. A highlight of the day was Leigh putting Renata on his shoulders in order to get a particular image I wanted getting out of the tube. As well as Leigh running up and down the other side of the tube platform. He really will go to all imaginable lengths in order to get the perfect image! We felt really comfortable around Leigh on our wedding day and really trusted his photos would capture our special day. We couldn't have been happier with the work he has done and couldn't imagine anyone else having done it. He thinks about all the extra details when it comes to putting photos together. Listened to our 'must have' shots and kept us on track in order to make sure we got everything we wanted without intruding on us having time together and with our guests. Again Leigh went to every length possible to make sure we got the perfect shots - we didn't have the best weather on the day but he would always let us know if the time was right to nip outside and get a few snaps. A special thanks to Leigh for the night time shot he took where he setup the shot and did all the bits he needed without us and then fetched us to ensure we didn't miss too much dancing and also so I didn't get cold. Leigh even got his equipment back out when I realised there was a detail which hadn't been put out on the dancefloor so I realised wasn't in his pictures to ensure I had a photo of it. I would thoroughly recommend Leigh to any couples currently looking for wedding photographers. His style is second to none and he adds in techniques from his extensive commercial photography too in order to get slightly different shots to that of other photographers.Thanks so much for being part of our day and for giving us photographic memories. We met Leigh at a wedding fair at Calke Abbey shortly after booking The West Mill and were immediately impressed with both his portfolio and how personable he was. As we are not naturally comfortable in front of the camera we chose to book the package that included an 'engagement shoot'. This served a dual purpose for us as we also used the session to get some family photographs with our young daughter. On the day of the engagement shoot the weather was particularly inclement. I had expected we would just proceed as this was the time/date we had booked but Leigh phoned to offer an alternative time/day and was particularly concerned that the weather was suitable for our baby. He checked the forecast and suggested we met later that day, when incredibly, the wind and rain subsided and we got some wonderful family shots of our baby and dog! Leigh's lovely wife Renata was fantastic with our daughter (and dog!) enabling us to also get some photos of just the two of us. At our wedding Leigh and his colleague Ben (who was also brilliant) were with us for about 12 hours! What struck us and was also commented on by other guests was Leigh's obvious enthusiasm and passion for his job. Not only is Leigh a creative and talented photographer, he is also a great person to have around on such an important day. Leigh and Ben spoke to all our guests and had the ability to capture the day without us always noticing they were there. We now have the tricky task of choosing which of our photos we want to print out! Leigh has remained in touch to ensure we are happy with what we have received. Leigh and Renata were incredibly professional and attentive to my every need on my wedding day and I am thrillled with the pictures! What I particularly enjoyed was their laid back and friendly personalities, it was like nothing was too much effort to them, and this approach made me feel very at ease and trusting in them throughout the day. It was clear to see the passion they have for their work and I felt that they were embracing my day as much as I was , having a laugh with guests and encouraging beautiful pictures with their natural approach to people. After recieving the photos which are honestly brilliant - I cannot believe they captured so much! As I barely noticed them around, they are so discrete , but the details to the pictures and the moments captured are just stunning and it filled me with excitement and happiness looking through them all. I can not recommend Leigh and Renata enough- for real professionalism, but also two people that are genuinely lovely company to have present on your wedding day. Leigh was the photographer at our wedding in September and I could not recommend him highly enough! What we didn't want for our wedding was a traditional 'static' photographer who just got groups of people to stand uncomfortably poised for a photo! We wanted a natural feeling that captured the 'magic' of the day. We were not disappointed! The photos Leigh created for us were absolutely pieces of art in their own right - he allowed for a relaxed and natural environment and did an absolutely fantastic job of keeping me calm in the chaos and run up to the church. During the day he just blended in with guests and captured many spontaneous and special moments, without us even knowing he was snapping away! 'In a word…Brilliant!! We met Leigh at a friend’s wedding and absolutely loved some of the shots he managed to get on the day. So when we got engaged, he was one of the first people we called to discuss what we wanted for our wedding. From that first conversation Leigh put us at ease and really got caught up in the excitement of the wedding so much that by the time the day came he actually felt more like a guest with a really good camera!
