I reached out Leif Brandt because I needed some photos of a project that Awnex provided canopies for.  I explained what I was looking and Leif sent me a quote, I thought the quote was reasonable so I agreed.  He was able to schedule the shoot early the next week.  He delivered as promised, in a timely manner.  I asked him to make a couple revisions to the photos, due to the weather conditions.  He quickly provided the Photoshopped revisions.  I would recommend Leif for your architectural photography needs. Leif is a truly gifted photographer, and one of the most genuine, wonderful people I've had the honor to meet. I first met Leif at my cousin's wedding, he was her photographer. I was impressed by his professionalism, but when her photos came back I was in awe. They were truly stunning. I was just beginning to plan my own wedding and I knew without a doubt that we had to choose Leif. The now-husband and I asked Leif to take our engagement and wedding photos after seeing him work his magic at multiple weddings of our friends! Leif is such a pro and really listened to our ideas but also had even better ideas of his own for where we should go/ what shots would look amazing (because seriously.. I don't know!!) We were able to do multiple outfits and locations for the engagement session and Leif perfectly captured sweet natural moments of us that I LOVE! I don't feel that I am that photogenic and can also be a little shy, but Leif had such a perfect way of directing us that didn't feel awkward or forced- it was so fun!! Our wedding day was just as amazing! Leif came early to multiple locations to get special pics of everyone getting ready, got individual shots of each bridesmaid and groomsmen (you're welcome, wedding party) had the patience of a saint through the various required family photos, captured the perfect sneaky shots of guests during the ceremony AND the reception (Like Gramps starting the conga line!) Seriously I felt like Leif was my eyes the whole night- since especially as the bride I hardly remember getting to speak to anyone for more than 5 minutes. Looking back on these pictures is the perfect memory of our special day!ALLLLL of this awesomeness and we were just so impressed by the value. As a youngish couple we wanted to be respectful of our wedding budget and Leif was right on board with us as far as finances, what we wanted to spend, and what things we felt we could do without. Not sure where to even start with how exceptional Leif's work is and how incredibly awesome he is!! When looking around for photographers, he stood out to us with his professionalism. He was quick to respond and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. After our initial meeting, we met Leif for our engagement session up in Fallbrook (the package we selected came with a complimentary engagement session). Again, he made us feel so comfortable and really knows his stuff! He met us at 5:00am so we could get the sunrise into our shots (his idea) and we absolutely loved them! Not only did he capture some amazing shots, but he bought us breakfast and a mimosa to break the ice and calm our nerves.From the day we signed the contract to the day of the wedding, there were so many occasions where we recognized how grateful we were to have Leif apart of our lives! He sent us small, but very thoughtful gifts and he created a timeline for us that made sure we would capture all the shots we really wanted. On our wedding day, he really captured our special day! One of my initial concerns was only having one photographer, but I can say Leif is all you need. He got shots from every angle and had so many great photos to choose from. He is incredibly personable and from the first interaction we had to the last, my husband and I couldn't stop smiling. We agreed that he was our favorite vendor from the entire wedding!
Leif is organized and professional, but what really sets him apart is how much he cares. I felt like he was personally invested in not just our wedding but in our relationship being successful. He was easy to talk to about what we wanted and what we didn't want in terms of posed photos.

Leif is AWESOME!! I will let his images speak for themselves in regards to his talent, but let me tell you how great he is to work with! It was important to us to choose a photographer who we "clicked" with, I wanted to be sure we were comfortable with and liked the personality of the photographer we would be working so closely with on such an important day. When we met with Leif, we knew we were already impressed by his photographs but we instantly loved his laid back but professional attitude. You could just tell he is passionate about what he does. He was involved and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process, and was just wonderful on the day of the wedding. He arrived early and everything was so organized, relaxed and on schedule. Hiring a photographer was one of our most important priorities and hiring Leif was the absolute BEST decision we made!!! We LOVE his style of photography, and what we saw on his website is what we got for our engagement photos and wedding day...actually even better than expected! Leif was so responsive to all my emails and always friendly and fun to work with. He came all the way out to Palos Verdes for our engagement photo shoot and was willing to photograph us with a Delorean, a little unconventional for engagement photos, but he was ridiculously amazing. On our wedding day, we were so comfortable with him and had a blast. Bonus is that he got ALL of our photos to us SO FAST. Leif is amazing!!! Choosing a photographer can be tricky business but Leif never ceased to amaze us. Not only is he responsive, professional, and thorough - he is kind, engaging and comfortable to be around.

Leif did a lot of research to help us get be particular "scenic vibe" we were looking for as a backdrop for our pictures. He found breathtaking spots in Sedona for us, and we were absolutely thrilled with our pictures. He is also very quick at getting the photos back (I was expecting to wait months for them), and when we did get them back they came in this awesome engraved box!

So instead of telling you what an amazing photographer he is, I'll let his own work show that. I will simply try to point out Leif's level of commitment and dedication, that separates him from just any ordinary photographer. After working with Leif he's not just your photographer anymore, be also a friend.

To start, as a Bride who appreciates organization Leif is the best, he covers everything! For example, prior to my wedding Leif actually met with me at my venue and we walked through the place together covering the schedule for the day, reviewing poses, places to shoot, and literally covering every possible important wedding detail. Which now after going through the wedding, you realize how important that level of commitment and organization truly was, because the day goes by so fast! What's probably even more valuable, is his expertise. He will help you think of poses or people to take photos with that you may have initially overlooked. Needless to say, weddings are crazy but because Leif is so experienced and organized, I never felt stressed, we were running behind, but Leif was able to capture everything!

He gets his work done fast! I mean really fast for both our engagement and wedding photos we seriously had the finished proofs within a little over a week, which is remarkable! Overall, I'm so grateful to Leif he was amazing to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the photographs! More...

Leif Brandt was the first photographer I worked with for a styled Chocolate+Coffee=LOVE inspiration photo shoot in August 2013. I can't you how great Leif's work is, because it clearly shows in his photos. Leif just did our family's Christmas photos and the whole experience from start to finish was fabulous! There were a few challenges we were dealing with:a. my children are 2 and 4 so getting them to sit still and look the same way it pretty much a job on its own and b. I wanted to do the shoot inside my kitchen which means lighting is kind of an issueLeif handled it like a pro! He captured so many amazing pictures of our family. What can I say, Leif is AMAZING!!! He was the photographer for my engagement shoot and as well for my wedding, and the photographs are absolutely beautiful. I have gotten nothing but compliments on them. I'm just one of those people who don't like getting their picture taken, but Leif made me feel so comfortable and at ease. My husband, who is way more camera shy than me, says he's never felt more comfortable than he has with Leif behind the lens.Leif was always prompt, and worked really hard to make sure all the pictures I requested were shot. I began searching for a photographer for a photo shoot idea I had for my salon... I came across Leif's style of photos & I knew right away it was what I was looking for! Super creative and great colors. I was setting up a fashion forward shoot with models and Leif had never shot models before but I totally trusted that he would be able to capture the look and that he did!!
