My son and his puppy just finished there first six week training class and I can not say how thankful I am to legend acres and there team. Even in a group setting they took time to work with individuals and there dogs. They talked about there own experience to when training and took the time to help everyone individual when needed. I came across Martha's post on bark where she talked about JOHN, a professional expert reachable at (johnspyful @ gmailcom) who helped her out a month ago.
It's hard to put in words how much of a genius he is and also can't stop thanking him for helping me through my divorce case. in my own case the money wasn't the problem and i can gladly say every penny spent was worth it. I have referred some of my close friends to him and all have been immensely satisfied with the top notch hacking service he offers. Taking this course. From the start the staff makes and your baby feel welcome. The classes are full of information that is knowledgeable even if you’ve had dog before and think you have training down. Got to do an awesome doggie door training session with Kristi from Legend Acres today. Prior to the training my dogs were terrified of the doggie door. Apparently you aren’t supposed to just push them out it and expect them to come back in. In less than an hour Kristi helped my dogs get more comfortable with the door and even got my large labradoodle to stick his nose out. I’m excited to work some more with them and watch them go in and out soon! Her customer service is great and it’s obvious she understands animal psychology! I came in on a Sunday. The entire staff is patient & knowledgeable. I have low vision so it took extra time. They all listened to my desires and helped me select the perfect Ring for me. Thank you to Assoc Chelsea & Assistant Manager Marni. All night I had second thoughts because my last ring had bagets & I really wanted a few. So... I came back on Monday morning. We had such a wonderful experience with Legend Acres. Our sweet dog, Roo, was struggling with some anxiety resulting in a very reactive personality that occasionally terrified strangers. We completed the basic obedience course with Kristi where we learned how to get Roo’s brain to slow down and improve our communication with him. It was me and my fiances first time shopping at Kay and we were both extremely excited to pick out our wedding rings. We picked out both of them the same day, and i was the lucky one whos ring they had available in store, but for his they didnt have the right size. We were being helped the whole time by the manager (lady 1) and she was the one who helped us size his ring and figure out the fastest way to have his order come in. We were about to be headed on a long vacation in about 8 days and wanted to have the ring before we left. She assured us that ordering from the manufacturer would be the best option. It would take one week to come with a rush (instead of the "normal" two weeks) so we had her order it and she let us take home a bigger ring with a sizer on it. One week goes by and I dont hear anything. I call 6 times and each time no one answers (and they dont have a voicemail set up) the next day i finally get someone on the phone and they say that it isnt there yet due to the pass being closed. Two weeks go by, i dont hear anything. I decide to give them some extra time since we were already on vacation. Three weeks go by and still not a word. I call again and this time I am told that there is no order under my name (that it was never placed) I walked her (lady 2) through what the origional lady had told me, she then started to get confused as to why the manager was going to send it to the manufacturer since that normally takes 3 months if not longer (which she should know). Me and her figure out what the best option is now that everything is messed up. She puts my order in and tells me it will be two weeks. Two weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call and they tell me its not ready. Two more weeks go by and I finally recieve a call that its in the store. I call the next day to verify its there and go to pick it up (which is 2 hours away) I get to the store and try to explain to them the situation and tell them the name of the order. The lady (lady 3) at the front cannot find the order under my name and as I am trying to explain the situatuon she rolls her eyes and interupts me telling me that theres no order under that name. She keeps looking and eventually asks someone else, they also cannot find it. Finally they find someone who knows where it is. I am happy to say that after all that time and stress we have his ring. However when I go into a store and spend thousands of dollars you would expect them to be able to keep track of what you purchased and how long it will take to get to you. We had my daughters tenth birthday party out there. It rained and rained!! The trainers were out there for two hours with our kids, never did they complain get grumpy or was put out for being out in the rain with a bunch of kids. They were happy the kids were happy it was a great time!!! This was a thrill of a life time for these kids especially my kids. Even when it came to clean up we just removed our personal items and they wouldn't let us clean up they did that too!! If you are looking for a great time for your childs birthday party this is the place to be!! The people were so friendly, let me come out before hand and tour the place. They made sure all the animals were up for the kids even noticing one wasn't feeling great and swapping him out for another horse. We could not have asked for any more or any better!! Board and Train
Legend Acres board and train has 2 different curriculum's. For our young dogs we start with Fundamentals and that covers loose leash walking, sit, down, stay, leave it, coming when called, find it and covers house training, jumping, puppy play, and puppy biting. We have a more advanced curriculum if your dog already has a good handle on the fundamentals. The board and train is the same curriculum as our 6 week course but is expedited into a 4 week program.
Low Stress Boarding
Your Dog's Home away from Home includes hundreds of Acres of trails where your dogs will be able to enjoy the outdoors one on one with a loving and affectionate team member. Legend Acres is unique in that each dogs has its own temperature regulated indoor/outdoor run with plenty of supervised socialization, affection, and attention in a stress free environment, a vacation for you and your pets.
Legend Acres is ideal for short or long stays and where owners can enjoy a Guilt Free and Worry Free time away from their pets. Legend Acres also offers Military Deployment Boarding, PCS Boarding, and TDY Boarding.
Our mission is to provide a low stress, safe, clean, healthy and happy environment for dogs where our philosophy is to provide friendly and flexible care to keep you and your dog happy. We provide pick up and drop off seven days a week. Clients are also welcome to view the facilities by prior arrangement by appointment. Puppy 101/Fundamentals
Puppy 101 Private Sessions are open to Puppies ages 6 weeks and up.
Puppy 101 Group Sessions are open to Puppies ages 12 weeks and up with a minimum of 3 DHLPP Vaccines and Rabies (If you wish to waiver this because of vaccine beliefs you may but Rabies is a State Requirement and can not be waived.)
Proof of Vaccines is Required to participate. Puppy 101 classes are designed to help you raise a well adjusted and well behaved puppy into a happy health dog.
Puppy 101 classes include basic obedience training, leash walking, housebreaking, positive reinforcement of good behaviors, trust centered training, and puppy socialization.
Classes will be 1 hour and held once a week for 6 weeks (with one makeup session) for a cost of $150 for group or Private sessions or $35 per private session.
Attendance to all courses is recommended. After completion of the course your puppy will be qualified to take the AKC STAR Puppy Test and become certified. For more information please fill out the form on this page.
Basic Obedience
Legend Acres offers scientific based positive reinforcement trust centered dog training for you and your pet so your dog can become a better behaved canine citizen. Legend Acres teaches you how to create a stronger bond with your pets as well as reducing unwanted behaviors.
Basic Dog Obedience Group Sessions are open to dogs ages 1 year and older with a minimum of 3 DHLPP Vaccines, Bordatella (kennel cough) and Rabies. Proof of Vaccines is Required to participate.

Welcome to the Legend Acres AKC Trick Dog program. In AKC Trick Dog, dogs and their owners can have fun learning tricks together.
There are 4 levels of titles in AKC Trick Dog:
• AKC Novice Trick Dog (TKN)
• AKC Intermediate Trick Dog (TKI)
• AKC Advanced Trick Dog (TKA)
• AKC Trick Dog Performer (TKP)
You will be observed in class and a short routine for the final test in Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Trick Dog titles.
Novic Trick Class will include 10 novice Tricks. In the Novice level, the dog will do each trick 2 times for the evaluator. CGC Dogs and Trick Dog Titles If a CGC certificate or title is on record at AKC, CGC + 5 Tricks = the AKC NOVICE TRICK DOG TITLE For the Novice Trick Dog title, if the dog has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate or title on record at AKC, the CGC will count as 5 tricks. CGC dogs can earn the Novice Trick Dog title by performing 5 additional tricks for the CGC Evaluator.
Classes are 1 hour and held once a week for 6 weeks (with one makeup session) Fees include 6 weeks of classes, one AKC Trick Dog practice test, and AKC Trick Dog Test for $150.00
