We have been using Leeds leads since October and honestly can say they are fantastic. Our dog Kismet was not very well socialised when we got him, and because he is big can be a lot to deal with, especially with other dogs! But when I explained my concerns to Emma at our first meeting she was confident that there would be no problems and they would be able to take him on. Now he loves his walks and we get regular picture updates of him with other dogs. Since we both work full time it is such a relief knowing he is able to have a good walk in the middle of the day. I can always rely on Maxine and Emma for advice if Kismet is sick or about nutrition etc, which is so reassuring and saves on pointless vets fees! Definitely recommend if you need a dog walker! Yet again Arthur and Jack have had their staycation with the lovely Emma. Us humans went away for a few days knowing our boys were safe, loved and cared for. Emma has been walking my boxer pup for around 4 months now. He's a strong dog and quite energetic but Emma has been fantastic with him. He loves going for walks with her and playing with the other dogs and gets to go to a variety of places to keep things interesting for him. In addition to this, Emma is very accommodating at short notice and will try help out whenever possible. Its taken me way too long to write this review! As the owners of a nervous Weimararner who suffers with seperation anxiety we were at our wits end. Then - along came St Emma or thats how she should be known! From the moment Arthur met her it was love at first sight! We have tried 3 different kennel and he has even stayed in someones home. Nothing was working and we had a weeks family holiday abroad fast approaching. Emma and Max came for a few introductory visits and wlaks and then we were off! Theybstayed in our home looking after our boys and for the first time in 4.5 years we had some ‘us’ time. Can’t tell you how grateful we are and are planning more trips even just over nighters. We have been using Emma from leeds leads for the past few weeks. Our little 6month old Blu loves it and it's great for her to be socialised with other puppy's/dogs. I also love the video and picture updates on here and it makes me jealous how much fun she is having whilst we are at work. I have been using Emma and Leeds Leads for about 5 months now. My bulldog Stella has been going out with Emma since she was 3 months old. Emma is awesome, I trust her implicitly with my baby. I love that she’s fully trained so knows how to handle all types of dogs and situations. Stella has the most amount of fun possible. They go to farms, woodlands, reservoirs etc. She comes back filthy and exhausted which is the best sight as she’s clearly had a ball every single time. She walks our 2 dogs twice a week and they are always tired and sleep well in the afternoons after being out with her. What do you love most about your job?
Being outdoors with clients who love it just as much. The reward of seeing the dogs out and enjoying their walk is so satisfying I wouldn't consider another job now.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It had always been a dream of mine and one day I decided to take the plunge and put an ad on Gumtree, 4 years later and the business is thriving and I haven't looked back since.

Dog Walking
At Leeds Leads we believe every dog is an individual with their own needs and aim to provide walks for every type of dog and their differing energy levels and requirements.
Before any walking takes place Leeds Leads like to meet you and your dog on a free consultation to discuss their likes, dislikes, temperament, social skills and behaviors; so we can provide them with the best possible care.
We aim to make every walk as stimulating as possible, mentally and physically, so your dog is exercised in every way. Our walks are over varied terrain, from woodlands to fields, countryside to parks and we make sure each dog gets some individual attention during each walk.
Leeds Leads guarantee your dog will return happy, relaxed, content and tired after their time with us.
Treats, water and a clean down are included with all our walks.
We keep all dogs on lead to begin with until trust and recall has been established. Written off lead permission is required from owner.
Puppy Care
Our puppy services give you peace of mind that your new furbaby will be well looked after when you can't be at home with them to give them the attention, stimulation and loving care that they require.
If a puppy is left alone for excessive periods of time without stimulation they can easily become bored or depressed which in turn can lead to a whole host of issues and behavioral problems which are harder to overcome than avoid.
Leeds Leads can help to provide that much needed stimulation by visiting through out the day to break their day up with fun playtime with ourselves or with other puppy friends, we clean up any little accidents they may have had and ensure they have the food, water and companionship they need so you come home to a much happier and well rounded puppy.
Your pup's brain is like a sponge and the first year of life is a crucially important time for their development. After their final vaccinations we'll introduce them to all sorts of sights and sounds in the outside world to help build their confidence in the big wide world whilst replicating any training you may be doing, we believe consistency is key when training your new puppy so let us know your chosen methods and we will implement them while you are at work or away.
Once your puppy is old enough, anything from 6 months, they can graduate onto the group walks with the other dogs so their social skills can develop so you have a confident, social, well rounded dog in years to come.
We're here to help - offering advice when you need it. There are lots of questions you may have so feel free to ask as many as you like. You may not be sure which is the best puppy for you? Where to look to get your new furbaby from? What needs to be done to prepare for the arrival of your puppy and what to expect when it arrives? Plus little tips that help you to understand your puppy’s exact needs.
The more you know before your new furbaby arrives the better prepared you will be to help your new puppy settle in and start a long, healthy and happy life for both of you.
Before your new puppy arrives we can come to see you at your home for a free consultation and offer some practical hints and tips and then be on hand every step of the way as and when you need it.
Doggy Day Care
The Doggy Day Care service is available for those who would prefer their furbaby to be out for the duration of the day while you can't be there. Collections start in the morning anything from 9am until 11am and the dog stays out with Leeds Leads until the day is done so drop off can be from 3pm - 5pm.
The day care package includes at least one group walk with all their furry friends and they are fed, watered and get some much needed rest after their adventures at our own home or in the the secure van.
Cat & Small Animal Pet Sitting
We offer a Pet Sitting service for when you are away from home whether it is for a long holiday, short break or away on business.
We require the pet to stay at home so they remain in familiar surroundings where they feel comfortable which eases the stress of being separated from you.
This service also gives you piece of mind while you are away knowing you home is safe and secured every day. Our vehicles have no marketing as not to attract attention to the fact you're away from home.
