Lee is a brilliant PT, he adapts the sessions to my long list of needs/issues, pushes me enough that I feel like I've worked out and not so much that I'm too broken to function 😀 I have exercises set for me to do at home too, I just need to do them! I approached Lee because I knew that I needed a bit of extra guidance and support to achieve my goals. Although I was initially nervous and unsure what to expect, I’ve just finished my third month and couldn’t be happier with the results. After a phone consultation, I was invited in for a free taster session. Lee was friendly and welcoming and his gym set up is really impressive. It’s spacious and has loads of equipment, but it’s also quiet and private which is a huge bonus if you’re not a fan of overcrowded gyms. The taster session was enough to convince me to sign up. Lee pushed me hard, but the exercises were varied and included things I hadn’t done in the gym before which kept things interesting. He took the time to explain a bit more about each exercise and how it impacted different muscle groups, and his knowledge helped me work around an arm injury that had impacted my workouts for years. Once I’d signed up, Lee did an (optional) body fat test and weighed me to help me track my progress. He also sent me a personalised nutrition plan. I’ve struggled to stick to plans in the past, but Lee walked me through how it all worked and allowed me to make changes or swap things around. This made things a lot easier and I quickly fell into a routine. Three months later and I’m starting to see some really exciting results. I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for years, but Lee has also helped me regain my confidence in the gym and I enjoy working out again. I have used Lee and the Team several times over many years, from initial conversation with Lee about goals etc it was evident he had a great understanding of fitness, a good outlook that a one size fits all approach does not work in Personal Training and set up several programs to suit my requirements at the times. The Gym is private, equipment is good quality and there is a massive range, the team also tailored sessions around my availability, I have learnt a lot about fitness from these sessions and regularly return when I need a kickstart, guidance or some rehab from injury. I cant recommend Lee enough. I initially signed up to 24 sessions, which was followed by 36 more sessions. Lee has a honest approach to training and sets realistic goals, unlike other trainers I have experienced in the past. The sessions are kept interesting and motivating with progression clear to see. During these last 5 months, Lee has changed my sessions due to injury, highlighting his flexibility and understanding to personal circumstances. More...

Myself and my wife have trained with Lee and the team for over 7 years. I can’t Recommend Lee highly enough. We had tried multiple different diets and regimes over the years prior to meeting Lee only to bounce back in to old bad habits and decline. We were convinced to train and ultimately commit in the long term to training at due their approach. Firstly, the facility itself is extremely well equipped. There’s nothing missing that you would find in a large chain gym like DW for example. Hygiene is clearly taken seriously with equipment being disinfected after every use. Their response to Covid prevention shows how serious they take the matter, with plenty of hand wash stations and alcohol gel freely available. In terms of personal trainers, I could not recommend Trevor highly enough. He was my main trainer for 5 months and his knowledge and support was just outstanding. He not only understands your goals, whether that be weight loss, strength building, injury recovery; but he also educates and explains how to get the best out of each exercise and why. His passion for fitness is infectious and if it wasn’t for personal circumstances I would be continuing to train with Trevor for the foreseeable future. I started visiting Lee Paines gym with personal training with the aim to lose weight. I learnt lots of vital information to build muscle, burn calories and get healthy. I gained a great deal of motivation for exercise too so that I have now lost >30kg and lowered my BMI from nearly 40 to under 30, and am now well on the way to reach goal weight. Been training with these amazing bunch 3 time’s a week since November and can honestly say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made ! I've been a gym goer for years but always did the same routine with diminishing results, The idea of going to a personal trainer terrified me. ..exercising and being watched plus being told what to do? No thanks! But after getting a bit podgy and taking the recommendation of a friend I thought I'd give it a go, so I signed up with Lee Paines. I've been working with Trevor now for almost three months and it's been brilliant! Each session is different and challenging but I always come away feeling good. Trevor really knows his stuff and how to push me further. He's given me great advice and a handy exercise plan I can use at my own gym. I've seen a massive difference in my physique. I'm less podgy, feel much fitter and it's given me the confidence to use all sorts of different gym equipment. I'd definitely recommend Lee Paines to anyone considering giving PT a go. Personal Trainers

I can’t recommend Lee and his team enough. After having my daughter, not doing any exercise for 10 years and a health issue in 2017/18. I needed to make a big change to my health and fitness. I’ve completed a 6 week programme. The transformation in my strength is absolutely amazing. I had major lower back issues before starting. I can now say I have no issues or pain what’s so ever. I no longer have to take CBD oil. I’m stronger, fitter, happier, sleep better and have loads more energy. I do two days per week and a weekend bootcamp. I do a mix of weights, circuits, conditioning and stretching. The sessions are different very time, which keeps it fun, interesting and I’m able to see and feel the results. More...

I have been training with Sam since summer 2016, initially on a swimming specific class and now on a Bootcamp class. Sam is so enthusiastic, she makes every work out fun and up beat, you come away truly knowing you have had a good work out but with a huge smile on your face too !

First class. I started using Lee Paines 18 months ago with the intention of booking for a short 4-6 week period, but 18 months later I'm still booking regular sessions which speaks for itself. All staff at the studio take the time and effort to fully understand the needs and aims of every client. First of all by listening and understanding their needs. We then prepare and plan a structure that is aligned with the clients and goals and make both client and trainer accountable. Goals and objectives need to SMART! (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time driven).

Having said all that experience has taught us that the sessions we provide need to be different, challenging and above all great fun!

Dedication, commitment, balance, belief and the ability to accept that a long term consistent approach is the only way. Short term quick fixes are just that and will only result in failure and possibly even ill health. I've seen this so many times personally and professionally and always try to steer clients down the path of balance and healthy living.

Quite simply working with the public. Being able to work with different people every day and help them achieve their goals is a privilege. Our clients come from all different walks of life and so do we. Every day we learn from our clients and our clients learn from us. The process is a journey and we must enjoy it and live it.

Freedom. The opportunity to help others and to be solely accountable for my actions. It is down to me and me alone and that breeds a greater sense of responsibility and professionalism - this is something that I educate all of my staff on.

I care, we care about doing a great job. I personally went back to education in my late twenties to create this business and have continued to study and improve over the last 10-12 years. We have a proven track record of helping clients achieve their goals and our facilities are fantastic, we provide a private, professional and tailored service.

Not only do we have the experience, education and passion we also have the life experience to add the necessary value to our clients. We are normal accessible people and have found that people really like that. As a busy business owner and family man I struggle with all of the same issues as my clients do when it comes to health and wellness but I still lead by example. At Lee Paines our bespoke nutrition plans are tailored to suit your specific needs and goals.

This service requires an initial consultation where we gather information about your current dietary habits, nutritional intake and your attitudes towards food. We understand the demands of busy every day life so this can be completed via telephone, skype or facetime if your schedule makes a face to face consultation difficult. We understand that everybody is different and not everybody is starting from the same point so gathering this information enables us to produce your individual plan, structured to fit your lifestyle and goals.

We believe that there is no quick fix but a need for a healthy, balanced diet. Avoid the myriad of misleading information that has diluted our understanding of the basics. Restrictive eating, fad dieting and well marketed meal replacement products may promise quick, amazing results but they are to the detriment of our our long term health.

Equally whilst we have a positive view on supplementation products, our nutrition plans are based around quality whole foods as in our experience this approach leads to sustainability when trying to achieve goals. We therefore treat supplements as nutritional insurance to complement a healthy diet and lifestyle.
