Small group classes on all types of sewing from tailoring to curtain making. Small group size gives lots of attention and we can have quilting and dressmaking going on at the same time.

I’m well know for taking up a hobby and not sticking to it, but not with sewing under the amazing guidance of Naomi of Learn It Stitch It. We started at my house making sofa covers, that was 2 and a half years ago now. Back in 2017, early into my sewing hobby, my husband announced we would be renewing our vows in the Maldives on his 50th. Naomi agreed to help me make my own dress! A daring project! And especially as I have broken both index fingers historically meaning they aren’t as good as they should be! I have learnt to mend ripped clothes rather than throw them away, I’m learning more and more about making and altering clothes, but best of all, we have such fun, a great giggle, and even better, our little class have become a support group for each other in times of need I really couldn’t be without my lovely little hobby More...

I couldn't recommend Naomi at Learn It Stitch It more highly. When I began my lessons with her, I'd never even looked at a machine never mind knew how to use one. I've only had 2 lessons so far and I'm enjoying them immensely. Not only is Naomi extremely talented, patient & knowledgeable but she's also very funny and a wonderful teacher. I have no previous experience and in just 4 hours I've made a mini curtain, a cushion cover, can thread & use a sewing machine and overlock.
