Just completed the rugby half marathon following an amazing training plan from the club! A goal I thought I would never achieve! Best decision i made, having not jogged before! I have just completed my 6 week beginners course which was an achievement, fun & hard. The support you receive is second to none and even though i was at the back throughout the course i was encouraged on a weekly basis to keep going and have faith in my ability. I first joined the group for the half marathon training. I found the training very useful and the help and support fantastic. What a great place. With so much to offer. under one roof. Trainers make you feel really comfortable and are very knowledgeable. I have PT sessions with the lovely Zoe and Liz in a small group so you really get that 121 training and encouragement. And the brilliant Hannah has been helping me sort out my back niggles and answering my many nutritional questions. Just finished the total beginners running club tonight and can not recommend it anymore. The difference in 6 weeks is beyond my own expectations, I could only run for max 90seconds before and tonight we finished running over 3. 5km (without stopping!!) joining straight on to beyond beginners next week thank you Zoe, Lil and Gemma and to all our group! I’ve had a brilliant year running with the club. They’ve supported me from being a complete non-runner in November 2017 to someone who will complete 3x10k races this year, loves Park Run and gets frustrated if I can’t get out for a run! Last year I couldn’t run for a bus - but Hannah, Liz, Melanie and Zoe plus all the other club runners have made it a really fun, friendly, supportive experience. Was nervous to start as ‘not a runner’ and had the best 6 week beginners course. Met lovely people and made a friend who 12 months on we are still running together. Moved up groups and from not running to about to take part of my first half marathon this weekend . Hannah, Liz, Mel and well just everyone are so supportive. Love the club best thing I ever did. Helps me mentally and physically. It’s improved my fitness, sleeping, anxiety the list goes on. I took the Total Beginners course for 6 weeks intending to get myself running and continue on my own but everyone at ERC was so friendly and welcoming I’ve stayed since! It’s a great motivational group and it’s really helped me improve my running technique, distance and time. I can't recommend Hannah highly enough. Her knowledge is second to none and for the first time in my life this whole nutrition thing makes sense. I've struggled with my weight for years, despite throwing myself into exercise and the whole diet market. I'm finally getting the results I've strived for.

Can really recommend Hannah for a fab sports massage. Really sorted out chronic tight shoulders and back and released the heavy feeling through my whole upper body. I feel loads lighter and freer! Since walking through the LBV doors last Summer not knowing what to expect, I'd like to say it's the best decision I've made. I am healthier, fitter and more energised than I've been in years all thanks to Hannah and Zoe. Zoe has put me through the paces to get fitter and Hannah has provided excellent nutritional advice. Collectively they have both been excellent personal trainers and full of positive encouragement so thank you both. I have always avoided sports massages as I've never enjoyed the usual spa treatments and just generally find the whole thing uncomfortable! Hannah made me feel welcome, comfortable and totally at ease. I was particularly relieved that she focused on my key areas of complaint and properly assessed me before starting, which meant that I didn't just have a general massage, I had one tailored to me and my needs and now I feel amazing as a result of it. I can highly recommend the Earlsdon Running Club, I joined the total beginners class in June and haven't looked back. The 6 week total beginners course with Zoe was amazing, she believed in us all, encouraged & supported us along the way, and at the end of the course we ran 4. 2km without stopping! I moved up to beyond beginners with Mel, and like Zoe she supported & encouraged the group. Mel has offered plenty of advice and recently suggested that I should move up to the intermediates group. Well I took Mel's advice and last week completed my first of 3 5km runs. I was apprehensive initially, but Hannah soon put me at ease, offering support & advice along the way. Together with the most amazing group of runners who all started at the total beginners, this running club is well worth joining. At no point during any session are you put under any pressure to run a certain distance or keep up with runners who are quicker than you. Through all the advice I have been given by ALL the trainers and my running buddies, I completed a 5km park run this week without stopping, not bad for a 50 year old who had no real running experience until joining this club. I am sure there are plenty of clubs out there, but you will not find a better one than Earlsdon Running Club, they make running enjoyable & fun, always on hand with advice, support, encouragement & plenty of patience. I have just finished the 6 week total beginners course and it has been amazing! I never would have believed I could achieve 3. 5km continuous running but I have!! I can't wait to see what I can achieve next. The course has taken me from complete beginner, run/walking and feeling out of control with my breathing, to feeling confident and competent in my ability to run continuously. I have just finished the 6 week beginners course and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to take up running. Everyone is so friendly and no one gets left behind. I was definitely one of the slower runners but everyone is treated the same, with lots of encouragement and tips along the way. A big thank you to Hannah, Zoe and Liz for keeping me going. I was/am determined to get fit and from hearing what others had to to say and observing their results, I knew it was the way to go! I joined earlsdon running club and haven't looked back. I struggled at the beginning and was amazed when a lovely lady stayed with my at my pace till we reached the end of the run. By the 6th week I was able to do 4.3km without stopping. A major achievement. I wouldn't have done It on my own , I would have stopped. But running with the pack kept me going. Im now moving up to the next class now. A milestone for me. The coaches are very friendly & personable. There is no sprinting off, no racing. Just a pack of likeminded people supporting each other. I have wanted to run for a long time but when I tried to get started on my own, I didn't ever stick at it. I joined the beginners group and haven't looked back! The interval approach made it doable and it was amazing how quickly my stamina increased. The support and encouragement provided by Zoe and the rest of the group is also priceless. I have now done some weeks in the beyond beginners group with lovely Mel and am now trying to summon the courage to move up to the intermediate group � The other fabulous bonus that I didn't really expect is the fantastic social aspect- I have made some amazing friends - although we don't always have much breath to talk by the end of a run � If you're thinking about it, just go for it!!!! I started running with this lovely running group last year as my 2 running pals decided to move out of Coventry which meant my regular runs were reduced. Hannah is great, really knowledgeable and a great listener! The group are so kind and supportive as well. I even found a long lost friend again which was a turn up for the books! I moved to Coventry a couple of months ago and wanted to continue running with a group. I found this one and I'm so glad I did. It's a lovely group to run with that offers a variety of different groups to choose from. I run on a Monday and Thursday evening and absolutely love it. Hannah and the rest of the group are so motivational it makes me turn up even when it's dark and cold outside! I've only been going for a few weeks but already feel like I've improved � More...
