Called the bedford branch this morning to inform of my wifes death. My property manager was in a meeting apparently. Waited for a call back all day but as usual nothing. No sense of urgency at all with this company even when we had a flood in the property. I’m a Landlord and find this agent very poor in terms of adequate and effective communication. The property management appear to be overwhelmed as emails go unanswered. Interestingly I was quoted £5,500 for work by their contractor, only for the contractor to return on a later date to assure me his quote for the work he submitted to Leaders was £4000. Would like to thank Amelia taylor at Leaders for finally sorting all our issues out we have waited months/couple years for as landlord is useless. We have had about 4/5 property managers in the 12 years here and she is the 1st one who has bothered to update us weekly at times we haven't had to chase as previous to this it was a lot of stress chasing when I already have anxiety. She has also chased landlord for us multiple times. Landlord still useless at replying/getting works done but I know Amelia has been doing all she can to get things rectified in a more timely manner.
