A really lovely course, would highly recommend. Was fantastic for the puppies and for the humans! Can’t believe how much we learnt in six weeks with regards to training, puppy behaviour and much much more. I feel like it’s really set us all up to having a lovely, happy relationship with our puppy. It’s such a shame the six weeks has come to an end - we will really miss it! We love the fact nothing is based on harsh discipline, but rather trying to understand the dog's behaviour and acted accordingly. I first contacted Gemma at Lead The Way when I adopted my rescue dog Luna last year. She was 7 months old and completely wild and I didn't have a clue where to start with her! With Gemma's reassurance and expert advice I have been able to learn how to teach Luna to be the brilliant dog that she had become. She has just turned 2 and is (almost!) perfect and lives happily with my 3 cats. I can't emphasise enough the importance of seeking expert advice in raising a young dog if like me this is your first time. I have taken Irwin to most classes with Gemma over the last year, every week. I'm not new to owning a dog - already having 2 at home but I wanted to start Irwin off well adjusted. The classes are great fun, makes you understand what part you play in your dogs behaviour and Gemma is always willing to answer questions throughout. Puppy Group Classes
Six week puppy group classes using modern training methods to breed long term results.
Focusing on socialisation, attentions, self control, lead walking, recall and leave-it. We also help you understand the basic husbandry, teething, toilet training and sleep patterns.
The classes are relaxed, fun and offer full support in and our side the classroom. The course only allows for 5 dog placements and run from Jollyes pet store in Norwich.
