The food here is amazing and the vibe is great. I love the layout of the restaurant and the aesthetics inside. The food both looked and tasted incredible. I had a nice experience at this location. First time at the chain. I had a special that had egg, grains, and some other added thing like avocado and stuff like that. Can't recall the name of what it was, something I hadn't heard before. The food was pretty good and the tea, too. There is nothing like a freshly brewed coffee and warm organic toasts on a lazy Saturday morning. This is exactly what you get in Le Pain and more. The ones we frequent could either be in Encino, Ventura Blvd or in The Commons, Calabasas. They serve handmade freshly baked organic breads, vegan and vegetarian meal options. Clearly one of the healthy and fit-friendly cafes you see around town. The staff is friendly and accommodating and food delivery is quick. I dig the rustic-chic theme of the interior making you feel everthing is earth-friendly. Early weekend mornings here is relaxing and quiet with parking not really an issue in Ventura Blvd. But if you come in late I recommend you check out the one in Calabasas instead. It was a nice place. The outdoor seating is really nice and I really enjoyed the food. Service was great as well. My only ding is that it feels a bit small inside and the tables seem even smaller. I would do 4.5 if I could.

I have a pretty positive opinion of the place. I'm not sure how authentic it is, but the food there is pretty good. Even though I don't usually feel like going here that often at all (especially given how close I live to The Commons), coming is always a treat! My favorite avocado toast and lattes are from Le Pain. The bread on the avocado toast is thin and doesn't overpower the avocado, and all of the lattes are spectacular; especially the turmeric one!

Today's service pushed me to finally write this review after years of frequenting multiple locations of Le Pain. Management take note you need more Staff and More Stephanie's especially during the morning rush! I've come to love all things Le Pain. From the trifecta of spreads on the tables (combo of marmalade's and various creamy nut butters), to the gazpacho, the fresh breads and the bowls the teas and coffees are served in. Le Pain is a familiar neighborhood staple for many. I feel everyone has their "go to" item on the organic healthy menu. In the past service had always been sketchy and this location in particular feels perpetually understaffed. However this changed today. Stephanie was our sever and being there alone serving 7 tables at breakfast I'm sure wasn't easy. My husband and I grabbed a quick bite pre school performance for our son up the street and were quite rushed. We expressed this to her with low expectations as Le Pain beats to its own drum when it comes to service, often delivering the goodies from the kitchen at a snails pace. Not today! I love this spot, and will continue to dine there.You may though want to take a look at the menu online beforehand and order right when you arrive as you sit and receive a menu, because the service is SO slow. In my opinion the busiest for them is the AM for breakfast, and whenever I go then (I go two-three times a week), there is only one waiter for the whole restaurant.
