Customer for years. Owner Lisa a gem.No snobbery or airs. Customers treated with appreciation. Technically superb. Pricier than is elsewhere available, but that's Riverdale. Especially gentle and welcoming without bullying or rushing the physically frail, the mentally frail, the elderly. Respectful and welcoming toward accompanying relatives/ caretakers. Spectacular results for groups for proms, etc. Notable is a welcoming vibe for male customers and proper special knowledge of their trends. If not satisfied, Lisa will strive to make it right. Other hair stylist s and washing assistants friendly and superbly competent. Best salon I've ever been to. Greatest service I've ever had. I will definitely visit them again, and I highly recommend them. They're an upscale salon, with an outstanding service and reasonable prices. Here's why they deserve five stars.Went there for a crazy problem. I had a very long hair (reached my hips), and I had it dyed 2 years prior to my visit to the salon. Ever since I dyed it, my hair became extremely, ridiculously tangly and matted. Every time I had to brush my hair meant I had to spend almost 2 hours just brushing all that tangly hair!! I had my first baby this past August, and caring for my hair became even more challenging. Needless to say, the problem kept on getting bigger and bigger until the point where all of my hair was matted into one crazy looking gigantic knot that you've never seen before. My hair didn't look like hair anymore. That's how bad my hair was. I called Le Chic Salon to see if they solve such a problem, and they affirmed. When I walked in to the salon, EVERYONE was shocked at how crazy my hair looked. They didn't expect it to be THAT bad. Nevertheless, Lisa, the salon's owner, told me that she'll fix it. I went inside, they sat me down, they applied all sorts of oils and conditioners to my hair, and then...FOUR women started brushing my hair simultaneously! Yes, FOUR women. Each woman was working on a section. One woman, Iris, was working nonstop that she sweated a lot!! Lisa, Vicky, and Ashley worked extremely hard as well. After two hours of hard labor, they gave me my hair back. I got my hair back! Yes some cutting had to be done here and there to loosen up the hair. Yes all that hair pulling was painful.
