I was moving from California to Dallas and needed a place for my dogs to stay so I did my research a few months prior and booked my dogs here for a night. I was really nervous as my options seemed very limited in Amarillo but I am SO happy I found this place! I would probably go back to Amarillo just to let my dogs stay here again! The staff was extremely friendly and kind to my dogs and that always makes me feel comfortable when leaving my dogs at a new place overnight! The facility was very cute from what I saw and I love that they have an app and the pet cams! As a Mom with fur babies, this Pet Resort is Awesome! I and my dogs love going here. My dogs have always been home bodies. But, No more! They were evaluated by the trained staff and put with other dogs that they really enjoy. My grounds and suits are absolutely beautiful. Our Beevo and Dexter may have been the first pups to use the daycare service years ago when they first opened. Part of the building was still under construction. The care was wonderful then and still great all of these years later. We have 3 now and used the boarding service Memorial weekend. The staff didn't mind that I called and checked on them. They were happy and healthy when I got back. I was also sent a report card after their stay which was nice. My only complaint was that the cameras were down. Thank you for taking such great care of our Porkchop. I would not even consider taking him anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and caring they also make sure to find out if your dog/cat has any special needs. They also go through detailed feeding instructions and times as they don't want break your pets schedule. The facilities are very clean and well taken care of and they make sure all pets are up to date on their shots so no fur babies will get sick. At playtime they also group our fur babies according to size and personality (which I greatly appreciate). They have several play areas and are never left unsupervised. My Porkchop always has a great time when he is there as I can see him playing in one of the yards on the webcam. This is the only place in Amarillo that I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pups. They are always well taken care of and I love that I can watch them play from the app on my phone. Theres not many places I trust my pets going to, much less staying with, but I trust this place. They gave me a tour prior to signing up, they have different levels of spoiling your dog while staying. My dogs always seemed happy when I picked them up, and always seemed happy to be back. I would take my great Dane there every other weekend to play for a few hours. He always came back wore out. My dog chewed up the futon matress while staying there, and I wasn't even charged anything extra. I cant say enough good things about this place. More...

I was very nervous about boarding my dog Sandy for the first time. The first time I boarded her I explained that I was nervous and they took me back to her kennel and showed me where she would be staying and it made me feel SO much better. Now I take Sandy to daycare here once or twice a week and you can tell that she loves it there. Everyone already knows who she is right when we walk in. Love this place! More...

Everyone is friendly and so sweet with my two dogs. They are always so happy to go and spend time with other dogs at daycare and boarding. We left our German Shepard Kiva at Le Chataeu Pet Resort while abroad on vacation. It’s clean and the handlers were exceptionally kind to Kiva and I. They told me things about her that only someone that truly spent quality time with Kiva would know. When I picked up Kiva she even went over to the girls to say goodbye, a good indicator of the good treatment she received and your four pawed friend will receive if you take him/her to Le Chataeu. Le Chateau always exceeds my expectations. The entire staff is efficient and professional. Their top concern is safety and comfort for my dachshund and my frenchie. My frenchie is dog aggressive and they always go the extra mile to especially accommodate his needs. I enjoy that I am allowed to access their play cams on my phone so when I'm out of town I can watch them. My baby Seb has stayed here many times in daycare as well as overnight and he absolutely loves it! They always take great care of him and the social interaction he gets with the other dogs is so beneficial. Access to the security cameras through an app is also a nice feature. Great place for my dog. I've used them for boarding a couple of times and have used the doggie daycare too. Staff is always friendly and cheerful. Facilities are clean. My dog is always excited when we she gets out of the car and realizes we are at LeChateau. They separate the dogs into different play groups based upon size and play style so older slower dogs or shy dogs don't have to worry about dealing rambunctious ones. I'll keep going back. More...

First time I have used Le Chateau. VERY Pleased I was concerned about my dogs care  because I was going to be gone a little over a week.  They were VERY Nice!  Took special instructions from me on his feedings. Reassured me that he would be watched during playtime, and allowed to socialize with other dogs. My three cats stayed here for ten days. I chose Le Chateau because their cat room is so cat friendly, with lots of places for them to climb and sleep and even a screened in patio with a tree. When I picked up the cats to go home, they didn't seem to want to leave! The staff is friendly and obviously care about the animals, and the whole facility is very clean and well-maintained. We love this place. They always take care of our puppy child. They love on each and every animal as if it is their own. This is the only place I can take my dog and her not freak out, instead she runs in and wants to stay!

We have used them on two occasions so far and both times it was great! Our husky seems to enjoy it here the most while my older dogs who to be honest hates being away from us hated it but I think it's bias so their opinion didn't count. I can honestly say I trust them with my dogs and that says a lot because I don't trust them with many people. The fact that they have cameras for us to watch was really a cherry on top and the staff where really accommodating for our pups when we couldn't make it back in time for pick up.
