Amazing food. Excellent ambience and service. Definitely you need to try it. Love it!!!
great wine and wonderful oysters!
Great cassoulet. All around great place
Some of Omaha’s best tasting food. Varied menu for all styles of foodies. Don’t fall for other traditional recommends in the Old Market. Go here!
Our server Todd made great recommendations and we enjoyed all our food and drink. The thing about Parisian food is that the portions are kind of small. ..and the price was moderate. It had a casual atmosphere. More...
Amazing French cuisine with great wine & cocktail options to pair.
Lovely spot for brunch. Inventive and elegant menu. Charming and attentive service. Our first time here; we’ll be back to try the dinner menu. And again for brunch.
Yesss. Go! Eat! Drink! Dessert!
Great restaurant! Fancy or casual all are welcome. Staff is wonderful and so is the food.

Delicious food delicately prepared in a beautiful atmosphere!
Celebrated our Anniversary. Happy Hour worth going for. Had duck and lamb entrees. Very enjoyable. Excellent service. Would recommend.
My favorite! Le Bouillon has a French vibe, but not pretentious. You can sit all day with coffee or wine, have a relaxing dinner, or whatever. Don’t hurry, and enjoy the experience. More...
Absolutely loved it!! Great food and drinks
Some of the best dining in town!
Everything was good.

Sunday brunch was absolutely spectacular. The most attentive, friendly service. Delicious food (try the French Omelette with foie gras). Definitely on the need to return when back in Omaha. It is a local treasure! More...
Food was excellent, small menu try something you think you won’t like and you will love it!
This was the most flavorful meal I have experienced in a long time. I had hte hangar steak.
We stopped in here just or desert and drinks after a great meal at Ahmad's across the street. The staff could not have been nicer and the ambience top notch. We ordered the donuts and they were out of this world amazing. Soft, chewy, sugary and hot, with a hint of salt, and some warm chocolate dipping sauce. I am glad we only got six of them because I could have popped them in my mouth all night at the expense of my health. Bar staff was also very accommodating with my drink order. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant more often. More...
Yum I was truly surprised with this restaurant. Everything was authentic and delicious. The server was well informed and kind. Had the gazpacho )crab st the bottom)-crazy good!! Then a crepe and salad, heavenly. More...

I like the atmosphere and the great food. Servers were able to help us out with what to order, they have wide selection of wine, very excellent service!
Wonderful and unique dining experience , the chefs were superb! Food is amazing, staff was excellent! Highly recommended
Amazing service,Deliciously Crafted food and great atmosphere. Max (our server) delivered the best service my family recieved in Omaha overall. The Steak Tartare was the reason for our visit because we were looking for a place that served it as my 13 yr old had it on his bucket list. The Burger was deliciously filling. My youngest recieved a crab cake specifically for him Thanks to Max. Thank you guys for the experience. More...
We loved this place. Tried going down the street first but there was a wait. Bouillon could get us right away which worried us and the menu seemed a little different. Our concerns were completely unfounded. Croque madame was excellent as was the Kaiserschramm, a pancake. Highly recommend. More...
I loved it but I'm partial because I'm French so the extensive list of French wines is heaven but for my wife who is a Cabernet Sauvignon advocate not so much. Anyway the food was good, love the place and service was great (a little slow for my better half). It wasn't our first time and we will come back. More...
Stuck in Omaha for the night due to a missed layover. Le Bouillon recommended by a good friend. What a Lovely place. Wonderful ambiance. Bar/wait staff was so nice. Great suggestions. Fabulous food and wine. My missed flight ended up being a little slice of Heaven :) More...
We had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was perfect.
The atmosphere and the breakfast menu are different from traditional Midwest restaurants. It makes one feels like if one is in some romantic place in France. We used to come often when It was the French Café because I was very close. Now we are not very close so we visit less often but it is always refreshing to enjoy a Sunday breakfast with either friends or family in a lovely place like yours. Keep the good work! We are visiting again soon! I love the new bar set-up also! Sincerely, G More...
We've never eaten French before, at least not at a French restaurant, but Le Bouillon provided a great experience. My wife and I weren't very knowledgeable with the drink menu, I just ordered something random as I like new experiences but my wife is less of an explorer and asked for something with rum. The drink she got she didn't like at all, she was polite about it and didn't want a replacement but the bartender came over and insisted. He asked her what sort of things she likes and then came out with something else that she absolutely loved and we only paid for that drink. Next we asked for recommendations on the menu and got some great choices. The Pork Rillettes were awesome and the Cassoulet was amazing. More...

Food was absolutely amazing, as well as the presentation! We sat at the bar & the gentleman was very helpful with any question we had as well as his personal favorites for food!
My husband and I went for our second anniversary. We made a reservation, but it was a Tuesday and it wasn't necessary. Overall, we enjoyed everything, but the food was salty. Even my husband who salts everything I prepare at home mentioned the food was too salty. However, everything was really delicious, and every component in each dish was carefully thought out. We had a bone marrow appetizer, the steak, scallops, greens, and beets. My other small gripe was our waitress. She was nice, but plainly nervous and overly eager. It didn't make the experience seem accessible or relaxing. Generally speaking, we enjoyed the food and both agree we'd go back, though only for a special occasion. More...
One of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had, anywhere. Beautiful, charming place. Amazing food & wine. We went there with our 2 daughters from out of town plus son-in-law & 3 grandkids ages 12, 10 & 8. Everyone was treated as if they were the most important customer there. Tammi took excellent care of us. She is charming, knowledgeable & attentive without hovering. We will definitely go again. More...
You'll find me here almost every Sunday for brunch! Owner, Staff, Food, and Drinks are amazing!
Authentic food, beautiful atmosphere. Great art enriches the experience.
Fantastic food and service! Best brunch in town! I can't wait to come back!
The food is amazing, the service is amazing! We where just there and I already want to go back!

Always the best dining experience. From the food, the service, the drinks to the decor. Love this place, highly recommend it.
Definitely my favorite French Onion soup in the Old Market
Incredible. Everything. The food, the atmosphere, the cocktails, the staff. My girlfriend and I literally discussed moving to Omaha so we can go here more. We get to try a lot of places around the country, and Le Bouillon is among the best. More...
My experience at Le Bouillon was one of the highlights of my trip! While the food (oysters and steak tartar) were incredible, the mixologist, Granville, is what made the experience so special. Granville is one of those rare people who knows how to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and happy! He has a knack for determining what you like and hitting it on the nail. Not only were is libations some of the best I've ever had, his dinner recommendations where right on point as well. For the most enjoyable experience at Le Bouillon, I highly recommend sitting at the bar and allowing Granville to make it an extra special experience. More...
Top shelf oysters!! Excellent service and great atmosphere!
Great lunch today with the gf! Quick and just as delish as the dinner. One of my fav downtown lunch spots.
Absolutely delicious for Lunch or for dinner. One of Omaha's top restaurants!
I got to have lunch at Le Bouillon today! This restaurant now has a piece of my heart forever. The frites were amazing, the sandwich had great flavor, and the rose wine was perfect for my pallet. Five stars!
Delicious food in a beautiful building in the Old Market! Can't ask for much better than that. The Kaiserschmarrn and coffee were just fantastic.
Great food and service. We have never had a bad meal.
The food is excellent. Seasoning perfect. Cooked to perfection. Service very attentive. Don't get away without trying a pickleback.

Lunch today was so delicious! I had the burger with cheese sauce, chips and salad and it was just perfect. The service was impeccable as well. I hope to be back soon!
Modestly magniloquent. Genuine yet grandiloquent. In a world where wine shops and micro-breweries are no longer enjoyed for their uniqueness and rarity . .. in walks Le Bouillon. It is neither a wine shop nor a micro-brewery. It is French ... at it's finest. Yes, it's true, ladies and gentlemen ... there is life beyond the cardboard boxes full of Kool-aid'ish California wine and the wooden barrels full of palate pickling scotch ... somewhere in the middle is "class, balanced flavors and subtlety" and that is where Le Bouillon resides. It is not better than the wine shops and micro-breweries (this is the "modest & genuine" part) ... it's just that it should be enjoyed for being different and unique when you want to have an evening where you have nowhere to be in hurry. I have been meaning to eat at Le Bouillon for quite some time now and finally had an excuse to check it out. This review is not for full dinner service, as we sat at the bar and shared a few smaller plates and drinks. The toasts were phenomenal, and the beef tar-tare was one of the better prepared versions of the dish that I have had. Our bartender was very knowledgeable not just with the wine and cocktail menus, but with the full food menu as well. Will definitely be returning to explore the main dishes! More...
I have been here several times and each time has been great. The food is top notch. Some favorites for me are the steak tartare, the lobster beignet, and the calamari. The brunch is awesome as well. I enjoy the drinks, especially the death of Marat. Today, however, they out did themselves. We were grungy from a sweater run and they still showed us the best service and care. We even got a steak tartare to go and they made a container to hold it because no one had ordered such a thing before and gave us a bag full of ice for us to take it home in. We are very found of this restaurant and their staff. We will continue to be patrons for a long while. More...
The atmosphere is so great and relaxing. Paul the owner was very kind to recommend restaurants in the area but we decided to eat at Le Bouillon. We tried several items from the menu that were all amazing!!!! Try the Rock Shrimp Tartine! More...
Went there tonight. It was perfect and fun. GREAT!. Brought my 15 year old nephew that is studying French. They made a point of talking to him in French. The waiter was GREAT. Sorry forget his name. He explained everything suggested a lot of things. Very informative. Dessert was to die for. Since I mentioned my nephew was studying French and his first time in a French restaurant they even had the chef come out and talk to him. He will never forget this experience. Thank you for making his last day of summer vacation in Nebraska so great. More...
I recently hosted a bridal shower at Le Bouillon and it was the most pleasant experience I've had coordinating a special event with a restaurant. Haley was thorough, prompt and proactive with her communication prior to the event. The room, service and food were flawless the day of the bridal shower. I highly recommend Le Bouillon to anyone in need of a location to celebrate in peaceful luxury. More...
Such a treasure for the Old Market. My go-to brunch spot, and really my go-to whenever I'm in need of amazing food.

Love this place. Very friendly and professional service. Food is awesome and awesomely sourced. A great place to be at! And thank you for supporting local sustainable farmers!
My favorite fine dining in Omaha! Superb service and decadent flavors.
I try everything at least once--restaurants & individual foods--but Le Bouillon has converted me into a regular. I could go elsewhere, but: they treat every guest I bring like a delightful new friend, nearly every item is Celiac-safe (inform your server! ) or can be made as such, & the preparations are somehow lighter yet more satisfying than any other French option in town. One can enjoy a meal at LeBou at any price point. Butter gem lettuce w/ thyme vinaigrette is a seriously remarkable salad; offal meats featured on small plates give luxurious, tart, soft, & texture in every variation; the jus on the bistro steak is so intoxicating that a cafe could be opened simply to serve that single dish (& maybe the toasts w/ it, I've heard); you haven't had a velvety omelet in Omaha until you've ordered brunch here--I haven't even addressed desserts & drinks, but suffice to say, the sommelier & pastry team have provided memory-making experiences in both of those French-dining wonder departments (ask after Banyuls w/ your dessert). Try visiting once & see how long you can make yourself wait to go back again. Just leave a table for me, please! More...

Excellent food, outstanding service, and wonderful atmosphere!! Can't believe it has taken us so long to try this place out. Can't wait to go back!!!
Awesome food, good atmosphere, fantastic bartender.
La courge musquee toasts etait magnifique!! Excellent service!
Chef Paul and his staff went above and beyond for our team's holiday dinner party! It exceeded all of our expectations. So good...would highly recommend to anyone.
Love the Lobster Salad!!! Great place, great food!!!

Gustatory. Kudos, applause, cheers. Fine food, great wine, especially when there is a visiting vitner pairing wines to dishes. Really enjoy the ambience, service, taste and after taste. More...
Very possibly the best meal I have ever eaten in Omaha. The soup could have been my meal - - amazing.
I have a new favorite restaurant in Omaha.
Very nice dinner. Split the rabbit toast, frisée salad (ask for the eggs to be cooked firm if you don't like the idea of runny fried egg on your salad) and the cassoulet. The cassoulet was particularly outstanding. The all-French wine selections have some very interesting choices from well off the beaten path. Your server can guide you if you're feeling adventurous. Friendly, efficient service. Will definitely return. More...

Congrats on your review. You deserve it!!!
Our first visit, we're going back. I'll start with the negatives: 1) the wine list is only French wines that I did not recognize, but our server did suggest a pretty good mid-priced bottle ($70), 2) the art and decor is odd and does take a little bit away from the feel of the restaurant; the place has been remodeled since it was "French Cafe" and the atmosphere is, in the words of my wife, "meh." But the food was good, not A+, but we will definitely go back. We started with oysters on the half shell ($2 ea.) and I loved the Lobster Salad ($20). I had the Duck with sausage and white bean and ate every bite. The Princess ordered Pork and liked it "okay" but said it wasn't outstanding. Our server was attentive and helpful. More...

Great brunch and great staff!
Southern French comfort food. My wife and I went to Le Bouillon for our 22nd anniversary last night. I've been looking forward to going here since I heard that they were opening in September. I had made a reservation via Open Table 2 weeks ago. We arrived shortly prior our reservation time and were promptly seated. The restaurant seems to be divided into a brightly lit area and secluded candle lit area. We were sat in the secluded candle lit area. Our server was very easy to talk to and was not snobby in the least bit. Le Bouillon had already made a positive impression on me by the way she approached service. After being handed the menu of the day (it was markedly different than the one posted on their website) we were left for an appropriate amount of time to select our dishes. After looking through all the mouthwatering dishes we placed our order. My wife ordered the Pâté de Maison and I ordered the Tasso (Smoked Ham). Both were excellent dishes. Next I ordered the Butter Lettuce with Shallot Vinaigrette and Black Pepper Cracker which I shared with my wife and it was a delicious salad. The cold sauteed shallots completely fell apart when eaten. I was surprised that a simple salad was as tasty as this. For her entree, my wife ordered grilled rabbit with glazed carrots and chanterelle mushrooms which she found delectable. My entree consisted of a duck, garlic sausage and white bean cassoulet. Which while was my first experience with duck. While the dish was tasty, it was lacking seasoning. I also ordered the Potatoes Aligot which in my opinion was the highlight of the meal. All in all I rate Le Bouillon a very nice restaurant with delicious food. If you go there I do not think that you will be disapointed. P.S. - the dress code is informal (the waiters were wearing flannel shirts & jeans) so don't feel like you need to dress up. It's comfort food after all. :) More...
