Fantastic evening with great food, wine and music. Really worth a visit, great variety of veggie, fish or meat dishes and the plates were cleared empty!

We loved the ambiance of this tiny restaurant, but my Ivoirian companions felt that the dishes, while well prepared, had been somewhat "westernised" (by which basically they meant insufficient chili, pepper and, in all probability, rocket fuel). The staff are charming and the wait for the food is well worth it. More...

Beautiful food cooked and served by lovely people. The dishes are amazing and we had ours served Senegalese-style in a big dish which we helped ourselves from. Earthy yet delicate flavours that are clearly cooked with care. A lovely evening meal in a homely atmosphere. More...

Very cosy atmosphere and great food. They're a small restaurant and the service was a little bit slow and they didn't have everything on the menu, but it's part of the small restaurant charm. The chef will even cook up a special meal for you. It felt very authentic and I'd recommend it to everyone More...

Truly amazing! My favourite restaurant in Brighton! Really nieche, not a lot of people know about it yet but I really hope it becomes so famous that they have a queue out the door soon! Abu and his wife have opened the restaurant about a year ago and the food is simply one of the best I've had in Brighton, and the vibe, their hospitality, everything is just amazing. My favourite restaurant in Brighton by far! Also it's very good value for money, and a perfect place for a date, it's very intimate! Ps. Try their homemade Bissap juice it's delicious and they also have a creative range of beautifully exotic cocktails! Much love for this place x More...

The food is delicious.A group of 4 of us chanced upon this Senegalese cuisine restaurant and were treated to some fantastic food. The decor is a little shabby and the fact there were no prices on the menu may have put some people off but its worth going for the food which is top notch. We had fish which was cooked to perfection, the raghu was delicious and the starters were super tasty. The meal came to £80 for 4 of us, starters, mains and a bottle of wine. Great value. Can't recommend this place enough. Give it a visit. More...

Saturday, 8pm... no Mabe Vege curry, or Mabe Chicken curry, no sweet potato sides, no duck curry, no mackerel soup!!! So all 5 of us had to choose an alternative. The food we had was ok, but weird experience as the waitress returned each time to announce the next item the kitchen lacked... As another customer says, 'it's not overpriced, but neither is it cheap'. Memorable meal - for what we didn't eat. More...
