My experience here is ALWAYS exceptional! Great music on Friday's & Saturday's with a bonus of the amazing staff. I booked my gf's stag at another night club. .. wishing I had booked it at Venue. Long story short, we left this other club to come here and the staff was very welcoming, happy to have us, and hooked us up! We didn't wait very long at all to get in considering we didn't book a table. Christian (VIP Host), surprised us with a VIP table, and some complimentary drinks. We've been to many different night clubs over the years and have NEVER been treated so well. Thank you to Sean (Head Bartender), Christian, and Judy (Ladies room Attendant), and the security staff for this amazing experience!!! We live about an hour and a half away from downtown, and we ALWAYS go to Venue when we go out dancing. I highly recommend this night club! Attended the SOJA show, almost did not go because of all of the bad reviews that highlight negative bouncers, crabby people, fights, attitudes etc. Guess what....this is an awesome place to see a concert. Intimate, decent sound, reasonably priced drinks. What about all the negatives about the staff and the bouncers. I can only assume that they were written by people who were misbehaving and perhaps acting in ways that would endanger others attending. The Staff are GREAT...sure, they are not the most jovial bunch but they are often dealing with people who have consumed to much alcohol so have to be very wary of what is going on. Here is a pro tip for you..........treat all of the Staff with RESPECT and you will be amazed. THey are great people and I would not hesitate even for a second to go to another show at the venue. A solid location for concerts, with good acoustics. The upstairs isn't often open, but it's a pleasant spot to watch shows from. We went for a night of three concerts. Great atmosphere, not a single meat head or "that guy" all night signature pat down and ID check at front door. That too an hour of standing in line. So we missed pretty much to opening band. Doors opened at 7 first band was 8. We got there at 720.. didn't enter till 8 30. There are drink specials but sell out quick. No in or out until 1015 they announced at the door so no tobacco smoke smell what so ever. Last band let out 1215. Emptying out the front with ease. Upper floor is scetchy. Seems to be room for standing at the railing only, the room left is for walking only as it stupid tight. More...
