Thank you LB Entertainment for your magical lighting work at our wedding!  We barely noticed the attendant working the lighting our wedding at all, but probably because he was busy making sure everything was perfect!  From my initial call with Carlos to talk about creative direction, I knew that they were going to deliver exactly what I was looking for-- subtle touches of warmth without it feeling overly clubby or tacky.  The lighting always matched the activity and kept the party lively but classy.  Highly recommend investing in proper lighting for your event-- it's one of those things that you might not notice on the day, but you'll notice if it's not there! Carlos is an amazing DJ. We recommended Carlos to our friends that got married in Jan. of 2019 and we enjoyed Carlos as the MC and DJ there. We had Carlos play at our wedding on March 3, 2019 and we totally loved him! Carlos worked with our live band and was very professional in working with the venue and band, Carlos is so easy going and flexible. 100% Recommend!!! He saved our wedding!We found DJ Carlos through a referral from another vendor and we were surely blessed to have found Carlos. When we spoke to him via email or on the phone we could tell Carlos was passionate about what he does, was very excited to be a part of our day and ensured us he would do everything he could to make it a success. Carlos supplies us with a list for us to fill in for the songs to play for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was very easy to work with and was easily able to mix in both modern hits, classics and Hispanic music into the setlist. On the day of the wedding,​ our timeline for eating was delayed a bit due to weather and Carlos saved the day by working with our day of coordinator to keep the party moving and the dance floor packed. We can honestly say that if it weren't for Carlos our wedding wouldn't have been half as successful as it was. Additionally,​​Carlos is very willing and able to accommodate special requests (playing certain parts of songs for example) and we were very happy with his services and we got many compliments from our guests and other vendors about how great Carlos was. Just as a wedding coordinator is essential to planning a wedding, you'll find Carlos is essential as your host and coordinator for the party you would have! EPIC!!!! So much heart and love went into all our meetings with him up until the wedding we had, and so much more come day of at Ebell of Long Beach. He delivered!!! He is phenomenal at what he does! These reviewers were not kidding about his professional, respectful and hospitable service! I was so worried about what music I would have at our wedding, especially because our guests ranged from different ages and music tastes but, he proved to us that was our least worry that day, and was the best part!!!! My husband and I hired Carlos to DJ our wedding. We wanted to be sure that the person we picked was actually going to be the DJ for our wedding, and not someone who contracts out to some other random person. From our first meeting with Carlos, he was very easy to talk to, my husband and I shared how we met and overall gave Carlos an idea of how we wanted our wedding music to be. Carlos was so helpful with so many things. We did not have a Day of Coordinator, so Carlos gave us feedback and great ideas on how to save time and make the night more entertaining. The night of the wedding, we had so many compliments on how amazing our DJ was. Many people asked if he was a friend of ours, because Carlos was so genuine and sincere. Amazing wedding DJ & MC!Let me start by saying that Carlos was such a pleasure to work with! His attitude and personality was amazing throughout the entire process. His experience with weddings was evident from the beginning. He was super knowledgeable about the finer points of the timeline, was very flexible, and did a wonderful job helping us to organize and to run our special day. As for his equipment, he knows it inside and out, and has state-of-the-art stuff the sound was amazing, he helped customize the lighting for our room, and it was absolutely perfect. Guys, Carlos is amazing. You'd be silly not to book with him. He was a referral from a friend and we were stoked to use him. He's professional, reasonably priced, a nice human, easy to work with, punctual and very accommodating. Carlos Zavala from LB Entertainment was absolutely amazing. He was referred from our venue Strawberry Farms and we couldn't be more pleased to have him entertain and DJ our wedding. From the very first meeting we knew he was fun and was focused on what we wanted and how we wanted it. During our final meeting I didn't have songs in mind for our cake cutting but Carlos said he had the perfect one. We trusted Carlos and knew he would play something perfect. The day of our wedding Carlos came out and said hello to us before our grand entrance. It was awesome for him to step aside for a moment and say hello before the fun began. He asked our family what they wanted to listen to during the wedding. He made sure to coordinate with the venue on order of events and made sure my husband and I were both ready for the next thing. DJ Carlos! We love everything about this guy. He's a super cool down to earth guy, he's easy to talk to and he really genuinely loves his job and it shows. Right when I met him we knew he would have to be our DJ. He listened to exactly the kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding and somehow m, NAILED IT! If you were lucky enough to find LB Entertainment's yelp page, you can stop looking. Carlos is the man you're going to want to hire. He made our wedding night sooooo amazing! Just absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the moment we sat down with him, he handled any questions we had, perfectly understood the mood and feel we wanted from our wedding, and made us feel so at ease and comfortable. Carlos was the first person we hired for our wedding, because the music was so important to us. From the moment we left that first meeting with him, I knew we had found our guy.More importantly, Carlos is an amazing dude. Super friendly, listens and pays attention to all of your requests, and was unbelievably helpful to my wife as she planned our wedding. His wedding packet was such a great tool to help us easily figure out the wedding music and keep everything organized and on point. He even went way above and beyond, when our equipment rental place flaked, and helped my groomsmen set up tables and chairs for the reception. In a moment where we could have very easy had a meltdown, he stepped up and helped save our wedding. Didn't complain, didn't hesitate, just rolled up his sleeves, got to work and helped save the day.We hired Carlos, because he was professional, attentive, and really knew his stuff. But he exceeded every expectation we had. Seriously he was perfect. We had  pretty wide musical tastes, and he blended them together seamlessly. Carlos was absolutely Fantastic! From our first meeting we knew he was going to be great. He was so personable and really listened to what type of vibe we were going for. Music was a big concern for us with a mix of cultures... Carlos was able to find the perfect balance of English and Spanish music and he read the crowd so well. The extra large dance floor was packed literally the entire night. Our wedding planner, who's very experienced, said she's never seen so many people last so long at any of her weddings... It was past midnight and everyone was still going. In fact, we wish we would have rented out the venue for another hour because many of our guests would have kept dancing!!! DJ Carlos DJ'd at our wedding on November 12th and did an amazing job.  We met with him personally about six months before the wedding and then again at the venue a few months later.  The venue was more than an hour drive each way and he didn't even charge us extra for it.  Carlos was great at envisioning the lighting, his setup and the overall flow of the evening.    He was organized, asked all the right questions and made sure our night went smoothly.  His ability to read the crowd and the dance floor was amazing and our friends commented on what a great DJ we had.  I would highly recommend DJ Carlos to anyone looking for a fun, friendly, organized, professional DJ.  He has top notch sound and light equipment and he really cares about making your event the best it can be. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Carlos! LB Entertainment came highly recommended by two co-workers of mine who both individually hired Carlos for their weddings in 2015. I honestly did not even search for an additional DJ, because I trusted the opinions of both colleagues. My husband and I are big-time music lovers, so having a great DJ was an absolute must for our wedding! I booked Carlos about 10 months in advance and from my first phone call with him he was eager to assist with any questions I had. I stumbled upon LB Entertainment while perusing through yelp for a wedding that was less than 2 months away. I wasn't sure what I was looking for when I made the call, but I knew I needed help and guidance to enhance the tone and ambiance of my wedding, since the venue was not in a traditional event space, but the lobby of my condo. The moment I met Carlos, I knew I was in good hands. He was professional, transparent, knowledgeable and extremely constructive in providing all the options available to enhance the look and feel of my venue based on what I was looking for. He was attentive to my needs, willing to work with my budget, timeline, space restrictions and other constraints that otherwise would not have been present in a typical event venue. He came by the venue multiple times to do a walk-through and took time to not only familiarize himself with the venue, but also with me and my fiance. By the time we were getting ready to sign the contract, I felt that I had made a new friend and was both happy and comfortable knowing I had established a wonderful rapport and working relationship with someone I trust and respect. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away. I knew the quality of Carlos' work from having seen photos, but I wasn't able to imagine how anyone would recreate this space with such beautiful lighting. As I walked down the aisle, I felt the glimmer and shine of every light hitting me from different direction, making my dress shimmer from every angle. It was stunning. Everyone came up to me during and after the event to express how impressed they were with the venue and what we've done to transform this space.But that's not all. As artistic as he is with lighting, he is equally artistic and talented with DJing. The music timing, volume and sound for the procession, recession, grand entrance was impeccable!! I never felt that the music started or ended too abruptly or unnaturally. Carlos was perceptive and engaged the entire time to ensure the music was conducive to the ambiance and what was happening in the crowd. It was truly a work of a creative. Not only that, his introductions and opening remarks during the program transitions were incredibly heartwarming and intimate, which was made possible because he actually made time to get to know me and my fiance before the event. Finally, Carlos is exceptionally good when it comes to working with people. As good as he is at working with you, he'll be just as good working with all your other vendors to ensure a seamless production.
