Really enjoyed their Palak Lamb. The cut of lamb was very nice, the spinach had the right consistency - not too runny , or too rigid, thick enough to be scooped up in a naan. The masala fish though is a different story. The Biryani was nice, the mint was a good touch and the style of making Biryani is that much closer to the authentic way - not quite authentic but authentic enough. The authentic Biryani takes hours and hours to cook. Overall I will definitely come back for certain dishes. I've been here twice so far and have had a good experience both times so it's definitely somewhere I like to go back to if I'm craving some Indian cuisine. First and foremost, hats off to the service at this place! All of the wait staff are incredibly attentive, sweet, and helpful! My mom couldn't decide between dishes and the waitress patiently walked her through each one and gave recommendations of her own which was awesome! As for the food, we got a garlic naan to start and then I had the palak paneer as my main along with a side order of spinach paneer naan and rice to share for the table. I would say that one side order of rice is good for 2 people portion-wise, and the naan is good for more depending on how much everyone wants (it comes in 4 slices!). I was a big fan of my dish! It was oh-so-creamy and the perfect amount of spice (I had asked for mild). Although the naan was slightly too oily for my liking, it was a good dough-y texture, and my parents enjoyed their dishes as well. As for the ambiance, there's not much to comment on. This is one of the only Indian Cuisine in the neighborhood we haven't tried. Decided to do the lunch buffet. If that passes, the regular dining experience would be flying colours and rainbows. We wandered in noon on a Thursday. Not sure what to expect given the windows are super tinted.  Unless you are inside, you would have no idea what's going on. Upon entry, the restaurant is semi full. Diners appear joyfully eating. Plates full. The setup of the buffet is two stations; one cooked station with chicken, paneer, pakora naan, and veggies; while other station is salads and some desert. I find their quantity of offerings is very similar to Indian Affair- fair for the price. Taste is above average. Did not feel sick or anything after, so that's good. Although there was only one wait staff, she was attentive and helpful. Decor and ambiance is alright. Value wise this is probably the best Indian Cuisine I have encountered in GVRD.   At 12.99$ for lunch, the Tandoori Chicken alone is worth the price- hot tender, succulent, mild spiced and with good char. namaskari have tried several indian cuisines in vancouver and by far lazzez's has gone beyond my experience and expectation in all aspects. Speaking of the dishes, all are perfection and a delight; from the simple tandoori naans to the complicated curries. All the dishes are beyond expectation in preparation and portion and can tell the chef is experienced. The indian famous mango lassi is a must here (milk or rose water) and should definiatly be tried by everyone who trying lazzez for the first time. The restaurant itself is cozy and the customer service is wonderfull, not alone has a walk in all you can eat. I am a simple person and my favourite dish is the naan basket, raita and mango lassi, although i love all veggie options here. Definiatly recommend this restauarant as the best in town. I have been going to this place since it opened and in the course of that time it has become; -a place to go to celebrate-a place to go when something bad has happened and comfort food is needed-one of the only places my introverted self actually LIKES to go to for dinner. Actual facts about the place include an awesome lunch buffet (I know it goes for quite a while though, I am unsure if actual times), sports and bollywood shows on the tv always (the music from the shows is playing) and, lots of space with large and small tables.
