Although we're happy to work with referred personal tax clients, we mostly work with the owners of small but growing businesses providing accounting support, tax planning & advice and general business support.
We work with you during the year, not just when the figures are due - often mentoring the directors to enable them to better develop their businesses.

What kind of accounting services do you provide?
A wide range of services tailored to your needs... for example,
- Help at the start - new company set up, assistance/preparation of business plans, advice on tax and what costs you can claim (ask about our "New Business Kit")
- Help during the year - weekly/monthly bookkeeping, monthly payroll, monthly CIS returns, monthly/quarterly VAT Returns, assistance with getting your bookkeeping system set-up & running, bookkeeping training if you need it, monthly/quarterly management reports,
- Help at year-end - Preparing your accounts and tax returns, liaison with Companies house and HMRC on your behalf
- Other services - Business Development Services, training & mentoring, Director development services, etc.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
To help you get things right and avoid the problems others suffer... (We rather help you avoid getting in a mess - eg with the taxman - than having to dig you out of it afterwards... :-))
Oh, and I strongly suggest you work with a QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT - there are many out there offering accounting services but without a qualification; unfortunately it's not illegal - you could call yourself an accountant if you wanted to (but why would you? :-))

What inspired you to start your own business?
Following 23 years in corporate business management I wanted the freedom that running my own business gives; the opportunity to use my skills to help business owners was a big draw and still the most important aspect.
Why should our clients choose you?
Only if we're right for each other... As owner of the business of got stacks of shareable knowledge and experience, but we always find that the customers we can help most are those that we work together with during the year...
