I contacted Mr. Aminov after reading positive reviews about his practice. During the initial phone consultation I explained to him what I wanted to have done and he gave me general advice about the documents I might want to consider. His description of my options were presented in a way that was easy to understand. After the phone consultation he emailed to me articles he wrote explaining in more detail the documents we discussed which was helpful.I decided to hire him. I met him at his office and reviewed my options. After reviewing my estate planning needs we decided together on a plan to meet those needs. He was knowledgeable and patient. My family contacted Roman upon reading positive reviews and high rating (9.4) on AVVO and reading his excellent articles on trust and estate planning on the web.  Initially, we had a free, telephone consult followed by an in-person paid consult. This fee was credited towards his final fee unlike another lawyer we contacted.We were looking for assistance with a living trust and avoiding probate for family elders.   We were very impressed with Roman's contemporary knowledge of estate planning and elder law.  We had previously worked with another neighborhood attorney our parents had used, who knew little to nothing about estate planning and misguided our parents.We engaged Roman.  He is truly a gentlemen and a legal scholar.  He was very kind in working with our Uncle and guided us through what could have been a complicated process.  He recommended a practical approach to organizing our Uncle's estate.  After evaluating our Uncle's situation, he recommended a Life Estate, an updated will and two other documents.   This saved over $1,000 in fees over the cost of a full package trust.  He even reviewed my parents-in-law's living trust for free and when he wasn't sure about a provision in the trust instrument he referred us to a colleague.Roman was very accessible and answered our emails quickly.  His youth is an advantage.  He has contemporary knowledge of law and estate planning, far better than the many other attorneys we talked with.  We highly recommend him.
