Contacted Mr Levine to assist with the matter of my fathers estate. While it did take some time to get everything taken care of, dealing with the clerks from the Brooklyn Surrogate courts is always a nightmare, he managed to get all the paperwork taken care of and resolved the issue with the estate. Very honest and upfront about what I had to expect. I first met and retained Mr. Levine in 2007 in order to begin work on my financial affairs. He was very knowledgeable in covering many aspects of my somewhat complicated situation and was able to provide much guidance as to determinations and procedures to minimize issues, and so we worked toward and through an Estate Planning. I was happy and confident in what he proposed, which resulted, among other things, in establishing a Trust.Throughout the years and right up to the present, he has answered questions, clarified, explained, and (needed for me) re-explained many aspects of the plans that we established. He is thorough in attempting to cover contingencies and inquires after any new life-events to better service the client, is warm and attentive. And consequently there have been two amendments to my Trust Documents. With a recent death in the family that required some out-of-state legal matters that affected me, some clerical errors in the original estate documents were discovered but were adjusted after some confusion and partially-answered e-mails - necessitating an office visit with Mr. Levine. Mr. Levine is much more detailed, efficient, and effective in-person than when not and there sometimes can be some punctuality issues, but otherwise overall I have been satisfied with his work.
