What can I say about Lavender Blue? Their food is amazing - whether you get take out or a catered event. They catered our wedding and it was outstanding. They have catered our company's staff BBQ this past summer, and I will never ever cook again when I have that large of a group. They made it so easy for us - I just unwrapped things and served! Honestly, I think my wedding would have been an absolute disaster if it wasn't for Vanessa and Lavender Blue Catering! She was an absolute gift to have as part of our vendor list and they are so, so, so much more than a catering company! She helped organize event rentals, heaters for our barn, come up with a rain plan (which turned into a snow plan), managed a less-than-stellar venue host, drove delivery trucks through slippery snow that no one else could get through, seriously she is amazing! Not to mention, the food was impeccable! I got many comments throughout the night and after our wedding that it was the best wedding meal our guests had ever had! The dynamic duo of Terry and Vanessa has never once failed me! They have catered large events, small events, I've purchased pre-made freezer meals, even Thanksgiving diner! !! It has ALWAYS been fantastic! Never will I cook a turkey again when their holiday meals taste so good, are reasonably priced and allow me to enjoy the Holidays with my family instead of in the kitchen! Used Lavender Blue for our wedding in May 2017 near Orangeville and were very impressed from the start ! Looked up several caterers beforehand and family and friends kept mentioning Lavender Blue over and over again. Tried to set up tastings/appointments with other companies as we were visiting from out of town but others either took a very long time to get back to us or responded with very high generic quotes despite us giving them lots of details. Vanessa responded to us quickly was able to meet with us when we were in town from BC and set up a full tasting and meet and great without a problem. She was very friendly, funny and seemed like she genuinely cared about us and our wedding more then getting a cheque. Was easy going and accommodating to our needs from day one until the wedding day. Helped us outside of just catering when needed and helped keep the show running during our wedding day (including bringing appies to the Wedding party during pictures!). Also was on site the whole time to make sure everything ran smoothly unlike some other companies who just send hired staff. Appetizers and buffet were delicious and presented beautifully and everyone commented on how good the food was. Would definitely recommend for weddings in the area ! No negative aspects ! More...
