We offer a wide range of catering solutions, from contract to event and everything in between. What’s your signature dish?
Our best seller is a good old traditional round of sandwiches. Both on white and brown breads, with a various selection of fillings and garnished with salad, it caters for those with even the fussiest of appetites.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We have several buffet menus to choose from but we offer our clients to mix and match throughout the menus to suit their needs. The items on our menus have been hand-picked by our director to compliment one another and ensure that there is something for everyone on each of our menus.
What do you love most about your job?
We love giving our clients the high quality of products and services that they deserve.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our managing director, Tony Byrne, has always had a passion for food since the age of 16 years old. He started off as an apprentice in a local bakery (who we still work with today 35 years later!) and found himself working as a manager in another bakery at the age of just 21. Tony felt it was time to try things on his own and in the summer of 1993, after the birth of his eldest daughter, Lauren's opened its doors to the public. We started off as a small bakery on the busy Bristol Road, selling our own baked products and sandwiches to passing trade and we soon expanded to include corporate lunches, contract catering, event catering, wholesale and snack vans to our list of services. Although we out-grew our little shop on the Bristol Road and had to move production into another premises, our shop is still going strong and can be found at 93 Bristol Road if you're ever passing by and fancy a sandwich!
