Not only does she have an amazing eye for placement and capturing the shot, she manages to capture exactly what it is we were looking for (I shared some ideas with her and she knocked it out of the park). Amazing! We booked a holiday mini with Lauren and couldn't be happier with the finished product. Lauren photographed our wedding, and I couldn't be happier with her work! The photos turned out beautifully, capturing the spirit of the day, with editing that worked with the natural beauty of our venue. Lauren met with us several times to get to know our personalities and to ensure that she knew what we were looking for. On the day of, she and her second shooter (also named Lauren) were organized and efficient, successfully wrangling our wedding party and family and documenting the day without being intrusive. The photographs are delivered via a user-friendly website, and Lauren was accommodating to my requests for some light editing after the photos were delivered. Lauren photographed the birth of our son just over a day ago. She was amazing. We never knew she was there but always knew she was there. She was perfectly able to get into the right spot capture the moment and get out without disrupting any other aspect of the birth. She willingly stayed for a time after to get some more pictures we wanted and even edited a few onsite so we were able to send to friends and family. We cannot wait to see the finished product and work with her again in the near future to photograph our little family. Lauren was SO amazing to work with today for our newborn session. Even though she herself was very pregnant, she didn't let that get in the way of doing a professional job with setting up her studio in our home, handling our baby with care and taking the special pictures that we requested over the course of a few hours. I had the opportunity to do a Boudoir session with Lauren Smith and it was nothing short of amazing and empowering, something I won't ever forget. Lauren was very responsive ahead of the shoot anytime I had questions. She made me so comfortable even though we had never met before and the whole experience was truly a blast, I didn't want it to end! The photos are beyond gorgeous, I didn't even know it was possible to feel so beautiful and confident. My hair and makeup was done by the insanely talented Christine Bateman to start off and I loved everything about how I looked and felt. The new studio was so perfect also, such a lovely space.
