I know at times, many of us struggle and could use support to heal. I know we run across many people, couples, or families whom are clearly hurting and it can be difficult to know what to offer them in these difficult times. Healing that comes through evidenced effective therapy styles with a focus on whole body and mind wellness can be a great recommendation to empower someone to heal. I work with a person's entire mind and body and utilize local businesses and resources to address the many needs these clients present with.
My mission is to stand alongside those whom are in the struggle and offer support, provide psychoeducation, tools and skills for healing. I find importance in providing a safe and welcoming environment and aim to provide clients with a respectful, warm, empowering and nonjudgmental relationship throughout their healing. I think that by utilizing a person's knowledge of themselves, of their strengths and areas of growth, together we can create a plan of what goals to focus on and how to achieve them. I know arising struggles are complex and effect multiple areas of life, meaning the solution can be complex as well. I'm here to help, support you and offer evidence based information and skills along the way.
I am able to offer a convenient scheduling (appointments ranging 6 am-6pm on weekdays and Saturday appointments) to fit any busy lifestyle. In addition to offices in Escondido and Carlsbad, I am also able to conduct sessions via phone or video chat.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being with people, hearing their story and seeing them achieve their goals. I am very passionate about my job, but also about being a kind, compassionate and non-judgmental person. I strive to do this in the hopes that I can provide additional tools, options, resources and skills to obtain these goals. Whether is be decreasing symptoms of depression, anxiety or PTSD or working with couples on building intimacy and reviving love, I love being able to be a part of triumph over struggle for people in my community. I see therapy as something most people can benefit from in different phases of life, and I am proud to be able to be of service in these times.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to move into private practice for two reasons: the treatment of clients and the treatment of employees. In my most recent position, I supervised therapists an intensive care outpatient department which was office and community based, I loved the clients, and the amazing individuals whom came to work every day to serve those in need of services with a smile and abundant love in their hearts. Unfortunately, the demand is too high on these clinicians, and in turn does not afford competent and quality care that clients deserve. The message sent to employees whom were already working themselves to the maximum of their ability(to barely be able to afford rent after a 60 hour week in a high stress environment) was simply to work harder. In the long term, this leads to employee burn out and clients not getting the quality care that they truly deserve. When multiple attempts to change the system went unanswered, I decided I could not be a part of a system like this and support it. This is what led me to start out on my own, and join with other like-minded mental health professionals to work in an effort to provide the highest quality of care to clients. By taking self care and the things we have learned from research about wellness into account, I am committed to my own highest level of wellness in order to support clients to the highest capacity of my service.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me as a therapist if they are seeking someone positive, non-judgmental, kind, respectful with a hint of humor. Above being an associate therapist, I am a human and I am authentic in who I am in session. Of course, I do not make sessions about me, however I do feel that its important for clients to choose a therapist they can feel comfortable and connect with in order to foster a positive relationship. If you are potentially discussing some of the most intimate details of your life with someone, trust needs to be there. So if I am someone you feel you may be able to trust or are willing to give it a try, I encourage you to give me a call.
