Lauren is amazing and comes highly recommended! Her photos captured the most magical moments of our wedding day. Lauren is very professional and friendly. She was also very discrete which I liked, not feeling like I had to pose for every photo. Lauren became a friend the minuet we met, it made it so easy to be natural for my photos. She went out of her way to meet me before the wedding, go over the venue, and all my crazy ideas. We have been lucky enough to have Lauren do our family photos since before our little one was born. Right after having my first child I wanted to do newborn photos but didn't necessarily feel up to it. Lauren made me feel so comfortable and at ease with my new baby girl. And the photos she captured were truly priceless. I think most people find family photos a little stressful but Lauren really makes photo sessions fun and relaxing. Lauren is the best. She made me feel so comfortable every step of the way. She captures the in between moments when you aren't paying attention, the moments that are the most meaningful. In my opinion, Lauren is a creative genius. These aren't your run of the mill, posed photos... they are filled with life & energy & the expressions that bring you to real memories. Lauren took photos of my family this fall and I cried when I looked at them because they were exactly the kind of pictures I was looking for. My wife and I came to know Lauren when she photographed a friends wedding in Portland. We studied her portfolio and fell in love with her artistic ability; she had the exact style we had hoped to find to capture our special day. Lauren is a LGBT friendly photographer who prides herself on stress-free, natural and candid sessions. She focuses her business in Portland, but was humbled with our request for her travel several hours to capture our wedding. She has a passion for her craft and seemed to float throughout the property, capturing every candid moment to perfection. She mingled with our guests; laughing, eating and perhaps even dancing a bit! All of which were such important personality traits to find in a photographer. Leading up to our day, Lauren's communication was excellent and I could tell her excitement through her words. Her excitement and confidence totally made me feel at ease.
