What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
When shooting portraits or weddings, it's imperative that you get to know your subjects as quickly as possible so you can make them feel as comfortable as possible in front of the camera. ( the last thing you want is robotics smiles) One of the most important things is to know your camera, and know your camera settings. You must also know how to evaluate your ambient and artificial lighting conditions and adjust accordingly on the fly. And its important to know when to shoot in one of the priority modes and when to the shoot in manual.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are their expectations? What styles of images are they looking to get? Are these images for a special event, family milestones (such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, graduations, new addition to the family...etc) or general family portraits? What type of background environment would they prefer? Early morning, late after noon or sunset portraits?
What do you love most about your job?
I love photographing and interacting with people of all walks of life. I love taking an ordinary individuals and creating an extraordinary Images or art pieces that they can cherish for a lifetime. And I absolutely love photographing weddings! There is nothing more beautiful than a bride in her wedding dress on her wedding day! And I feel blessed and honored to be the one chosen to capture the magic of that day. Again, my goal is to create art that my brides & families would be excited and proud to hang in their home for years to come.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Living in San Diego, I am continuously inspired by it’s beautiful landscape’s and bountiful ocean which spills into our city’s bays, and I love to find beauty in the simple things that make this my home. My passion for photography is in my genes; as a young child my mother would take me to art museums and portrait galleries, which I absolutely loved! My father took up photography as a hobby when he was a teenager, and it continued into his adult years. As a young man, I loved looking at the pictures he printed, and I would sit and stare at these to relive the family moments he had photographed. When I realized the happiness a simple picture could bring, I realized that every picture was not only evidence of that moment in time, but a hidden story of the lives of those on the other side of the camera which prompted me to start my own photography business.
I love photography because of its ability to provide a tangible record of the moments that build our lives, and being the one behind the camera gives me an overwhelming sense of purpose and fulfillment.

First of all, I am patient, punctual and polite! I have over 8 yrs experience as a professional photographer with various companies such as, Olan Mills, Life Touch Studios and G. S. Weddings. And I specialize in low-light Photography and Sunset portraits. I’ll do whatever takes to make sure my clients are satisfied not only with my photography, but also with my service!
