DO NOT RECOMMEND! He was drunk before guests even got in there for the reception and so rude to everyone. If you want a drunk to host your wedding go for it.

Please don't hire this this DJ if you want an organize and professional one for your special day. My wedding was a lil over three months ago and until now I get the disappointment feeling in my heart when I think about it. I had a couple of choices for my DJ at my wedding. DJ Tommy was the first one I spoke to. He was great at convincing me at how good he is at his job as well as experience too. He even suggested a lot so that made me think he is good so I was sold! When finally after I hired him, I asked him to go over some things and asked him what is his usual schedule look like because he will be my MC too. He didn't get me a response right away on that part and just kept asking me for the names of the bridal party where in fact, I was just curious on what layout schedule will be since its my first time doing a reception. (I am organizing my own wedding) There it was a RED FLAG! He said, he will let me know unlike the other DJ I spoke too, he gave me a full layout schedule on what it's gonna be like, that I could've customize myself and easier because when it's your first time getting married, you forget a lot of stuff. I gave DJ Tomy the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was just busy doing other gigs and will come out good towards the end. So I kept him. I even added the photobooth as he kept saying it's great. Mind you, I paid in full even before the weddng came as I didn't need to. The day before my wedding, talked to him and asked him the layout and wasn't able to give me still so I came prepared and gave my layout schedule. Schedule on what time we will do the entrance, the entrance song, the time for the couples first dance, the father daughter dance and the list goes on. After speaking to him, I emailed him the schedule as well as the names of the entourage. Thinking he was that good and professional, that he knows what he was gonna do. Then wedding day came and I got disappointed. After my wessing at the Red Rock Canyons, on the way to the reception at the Sparklings, I called and asked if he was there the venue, he said he was but didn't get the names of the entourage. I was liked so shocked and got annoyed of course, so I sent him the email again. When we got to the venue, of course we had a schedule to follow. Everything is timed, venue and photographers. We were wondering what was the hold up and DJ Tomy said he is still setting up as well as the photobooth🤦‍♀️ When it became too long I said we gotta start, he went out of the venue to ask me again for the names!😖 (I mean seriously, that morning he woked up, he knew that he didnt get the names, he couldve called me right away and asked for it while I was getting ready! Not when we were about to reach my reception which I had to call him first) I was so annoyed that I gave him my phone that has the screenshot of the exact same thing I sent him over the email regarding the names! After that, the whole night, we had to tell him when to start and end the songs for the couples dance, the father daughter dance, when to make the announcements for the open bar etc. He wasn't really focus on ths DJ/MC job because he was so busy fixing his photobooth that is BROKEN which he convinced me working great and its gonna be fun for my reception. I was hoping for stress free  on my wedding since I have organized everyting. I trusted that he will do his job professionaly! He was even given tips just to play the songs we like which mind you we gave him a list of songs me and my husband likes. If he was that good, he shouldve had an idea of songs we like! He even played country songs that no one knows about and not one single country on our list.  Good thing It's an open bar that my friends and family enjoyed! It sucks because most of my guests were excited to do photobooth but it didn't work. After all this, he told my husband that he will refund us for the photobooth which he really should. I asked a few days later after the wedding if he can send us the refund of $325 only. His answer was give him a few more days since he needs the money for refinancing his house. Which has nothing to do with me. I was nice enough to give him time. After three weeks of asking me to give him time, I finally called him and asked for my refund. Again, explaining to me about his problem of refinancing his house. I told him, that has nothing to do with me and I am just asking for my right to get my money back. I also told him, " I am very disappointed on you and that you ruined my wedding day. Your personal financial problems has nothing to do with me" an that was me talking to him in calm tone of voice. All of a sudden he said "Go ahead sue me! You are yelling at me, y0u made me mad so go ahead and sue me" this was his actual words with screaming tone. I said first, I never screamed at you  and i just said I am disappointed at you. He again said, "go and sue me, bye" and hung up the phone. I was so mad and at that point, I spoke to a lawyer already. I didnt care if I had to pay a lil more that what he owes me just to teach him a lesson. Later I texted him and said, " don't be lying that I screamed coz I did not, and is this how you treat your clients? Be responsible for this" He didnt reply right away. After that the lawyer I spoke to even suggested on exposing him on TV, I think it was Fox 5 channel if I remember correctly. The lawyer even told me she was willing to help me so DJ Tomy cannot do this to anyone anymore. He didnt realize the money and time we've spent for our wedding day, that we cannot rewind anymore. It is something I'll remember for life and he ruined part of it. He later texted and said sorry and give him a few more days, he'll mail out the check post dated and that he is trying for refinancing his house. I didn't reply anymore and my lawyer told me to give him a couple of days and so I did. I even gave him two more weeks since I got busy and I didn't trust him anymore that the check might bounce back and I might get penalized for it. He couldve said sorry from the beginning instead of saying Go Ahead a sue me! At that point it just showed he might not have intentions in paying because he knows what he owes me is not much that I'll be paying more. It was a matter of principle that I didnt care if I had to pay extra just to teach him to be respectful. I had the right to be mad and to feel disappointed because the services which I hired him for wasnt done properly as he described it.  I felt bad because maybe due to covid he was desperate for a job. He could've brought someone to attend to the photobooth so he can focus on DJ/MC job instead. I am truly disappointed! Never again. Hire someone newer, fresher and knows what they are doing. Im thinking maybe he was good during his time or for birthdays only but not anymore and not for weddings. Also for him to act annoyed on my wedding day just because we had to tell him what and when to play the songs, when to stop the songs, when to start the speeches, also to tell him the schedule that he couldve just followed. If he was organize this wouldn't happen. Not professional I say. I have been in the hospitaly industry for about 15 years so I know what a customer service should be even if you are in peer pressured environment. Also, whatever that is going on with his financial issues that has nothing to do with us. All we wanted is what is right for us. Also if you are reading this whole thing, I am not exaggerating. I have all proofs or the emails I sent to him which he claims didn't receive as well as his for his texts. He was even on the picture standing right next to our table asking each person's name who is about to do the speech.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️😠😠 Okay, I got to stop because it's causing me high blood pressure when I think about what he did. From the start no one seemed to be in charge of or coordinating the wedding reception at the venue. When i arrived we had a dj system and photo booth to set up so asked where they wanted me to set up and they wanted me a few feet in front of the door where people would be coming in a few feet behind the dj system which is a big no no... second there was no place for the photo booth either... i moved to the other side of the room and tried to set up everything so it would work out the best.... well it was tighter than tight and caused some problems... everyone that wanted a drink at the bar had to go through the photo booth area while people were trying on props and waiting for the booth to open... the booth worked initially but then failed... it may have been a power over load because i had to run extensions where there were not enough power outlets... no problem usually! I got a few test pics out before it totally shut down... which has never happened before... I apoligized to the newlyweds and informed the guests that it was not working, I feverishly tried to fix it but it would not work at that point as the laptop running the booth would turn on and then shut itself down...As far as the grand entrance.... there were some changes from the original paperwork to the morning of the reception... i had someone come up to me and say here are the changes to the introduction,,,, with diff. songs for the couples to come in.... i went out to go over the line-up and pronounce the names properly... so i guess the bride thought it was not organized but i have done hundreds of intro's with last minute changes.. so no problem... we went over it and announced them... i took requests on songs and had every one of their songs they requested before the wedding....they danced and had seemed to have fun and ji did receive compliments from the guests on the music..... the only real problem was the photo booth and/or the power cutting out and shutting it down...... They are a very nice couple and i refunded their money. I believe the one country song played was the git up by blanco....could have been a request but i cant remember...

Looking for a DJ in Las Vegas can be a scary task! This is the city of entertainment. I took a chance and called DJ Tommy for two parties that I was hosting at the Orleans Arena. Combined there were about 1800 kids. I chose based on website, reviews and COST! We are an event producing company with our own DJ's on staff so we have very high expectations. I was very impressed with DJ Tommy. The first party was for younger kids and the second party was for older (high school ages) kids. He knew exactly what to play. His music choices were so good that we had parents out on the dance floor with their kids singing the same songs (Bohemian Rhapsody). Not sure how that age of kids know the words but he knew exactly how to keep the floor going all night! I will definitely be calling this company in the future. We will be back next year at the same time and I already plan on having DJ Tommy back! More...
