I am a post Lipo patient and my massage therapist Dan Puig was great! He was very patient and understanding since I was 1 week post surgery and in a lot of pain. He made me feel comfortable and even chatted while he did my massage. I had a lot of fluids built up and was very stiff and he did a great job doing a lymphatic drainage massage. I have been going to see Dan for years now. Dan is the best! I cannot say enough good things about him and his massages! He tailors the massages to what your body needs, he really knows what he's doing. I received my First (I say first because there WILL be many more) massage from Daniel yesterday and I can not say enough about how great it was. I am a cycle instructor and I also paddle during the summer months. I am not easy on my body and I can feel the repercussions of that as I get older. Daniel is the first massage therapist that I have been to that was able to get the pressure just right. Deep enough for me to know he was releasing the tension but not so deep that I couldn't breathe. The massage was perfect except I should have booked longer because I loved it so much. I been dealing with back pain my entire life and Dan has been my go to for relieve. Dan is a real great therapist- he does a combination of techniques like prenatal massage now that I am pregnant, deep tissue and trigger point really customizing to my problem areas, especially after getting in a car wreck a few years ago and working on my feet after a fall at work. I've been a client of Heather's, then Dan's, for around 10 years. I'm an athlete and appreciate how they can hone in on my tight muscles and trouble areas; it's like they've got x-ray vision and can see just where the pain is. I'm sure they're excellent at more relaxing Swedish-style massage as well but even with the more intense pressure I prefer I've still managed to fall asleep on the table several times! I've followed Dan through several locations over the years and he's kept me aligned and pain free through training for marathons, triathlons, pregnancy, and the muscle tightness from sitting at a desk job.
