Had a lovely meal at The Tickell Arms on 7Dec 2019. Fabulous venison, perfectly cooked to melt in the mouth. As my daughter is pregnant, we went for the non-alcoholic sparkling wine. We were told we were the first to try it and can definitely recommend it! Service was fast and efficient...staff very friendly and attentive. Can thoroughly recommend. More...

Tour of the vineyard and wine making facility was very interesting and informative, though it was a round trip of one mile walking in 32°C heat so it was hard work! But rewarded with a lovely afternoon tea and wine tasting later. Was a great afternoon and I would definitely recommend it. More...

Had a wonderful morning! Our guide had so much information and very funny! There is a half mile walk to the vines up and down a hill, but as I have slight mobility issues they allowed me to drive my car down. We had a lovely salad, rather a lot of iceberg lettuce, a bit more other ingredients would nice and a roll! Especially as lunch is £20 a head! The grape ice cream was amazing!!Thank you for a wonderful experience. More...

Great day with a fantastic guide who helped me understand the process of making wine from beginning to end. Then a taste of some very good English wines to show me how much better they have become since Thunderbird and Concorde stopped proving otherwise.

Booked the tea and tour/wine tasting. Interesting tour, tasted small amounts of 5 of their wines which added to a total amount of about 1 small glass so that you should be able to drive afterwards. There was a total walk of approx 1 mile on a farm track to the vineyard up and down quite steep hills so it might not be suitable for people who suffer with mobility issues or health problems. They tell you that you can drive your car to the vineyard and I'd recommend that as a couple of the older people looked a bit tired after the walk. The tea was ok 2 scones and cream/jam, a couple of finger sandwiches and some a couple of minature cakes which tasted a bit cheaply made and boring with the presentation of it far nicer than it actually tasted. The wine tasting was good fun and the wines very good.Overall it was all conducted in a big group but I'd suggest being more disability friendly and offering an option to see a video of the vineyards for people who have trouble walking far or offering a tractor and cart ride to them.
