I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Marissa & Christopher's Wedding at this location this past weekend. What a beautiful venue! The view of New York City is without a doubt, the most beautiful sight to see. We couldn’t be happier with The Liberty House! On April 20th we had our wedding ceremony and reception here; it was absolute magic. The views are phenomenal, food is superb, and most importantly the service is above and beyond expectation. Christina was our wedding planner for this venue and we couldn’t possibly put in words how helpful she was. From tastings, to linens, to 911 texts, she was immediate to respond and find a solution to help! Christina and her team made the planning process and day of completely stress free. They think of everything before it even crosses your mind. Brides, Christina does a great job getting to know you and what you like/ don’t like. She is so willing to help you with everything you need and honestly makes this venue worth every penny. We would highly recommend a wedding, event, or even dinner here! If you go for the view and ambiance you won’t be disappointed, the outside setup is great. You can have a drink and listen to the live music by the fire pits and check out the view of the manhattan skyline. The food is solid but not amazing. I had the seared tuna and black truffle risotto. My girlfriend had the filet mignon. She described her steak as alright and liked the risotto the most. Pistachio cheesecake for dessert didn’t have a ton of flavor over normal cheesecake. I visited with my wife for our wedding anniversary and I asked them to sit us in nice and quiet area but they didn't have the space available when we got there.
Besides that the food was good, the service was good and ambiance was nice, a little noisy because they decided to sit us near the bar where some people became a bit excited.
The view is fantastic and the place is beautiful.
I would recommend you visit Liberty House, the view, food and service made the experience worth it regarding the noise level. More...

Have frequented this restaurant multiple times and the food is delicious and the views breathtaking. Have been to the Liberty House on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, the staff attentive and the views breathtaking. We loved it so much that we decided to have our wedding at the Liberty House and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. As a frequent guest and vendor... I can truly attest at the amazing experience this venue provides. If you are looking for an incredible view, excellent cuisine and attentive staff. .. then look no further. Danielle, Alex, Christina, Mara and the rest of the event stylists are there to meet you every need and take care of every single wish you may have for your special day.

On the restaurant side... the cuisine is creative, fresh and never stale. I attend the Mother's Day brunch yearly and it never disappoints.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Liberty House in June and it exceeded our expectations. First things first, the view alone makes this venue an ideal location for New Jersey brides looking for a New York style wedding. My husband's family and friends are from California and all of our guests (including those from NJ) could not stop raving about how gorgeous the grounds and view were. From the moment our guests arrived to the end of the party, the staff at the Liberty House made sure our event was running smoothly and without a hitch. The fare was amazing, as again our guests were blown away by the delicious abundance of food. Everything was prepared fresh and was full of flavor. A personal thank you goes out to Danielle, director of events for making our wedding extra special. Since the moment we booked our wedding and all the details in between, she was beyond helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. I can not say anything bad about the Liberty House. From day 1 Alexandra worked with me to make my dream a reality. She responded to every email timely and worked with me even to the last minute with slight changes. It started out with a beautiful afternoon ceremony on the grounds overlooking New York City. It was followed by a cocktail and reception in the Liberty Room which also gives you access to the terrace. Guests were awed with the food, drinks and overall service. Even as the party ended, guests still didn't want to leave so we remained on one of their sitting areas for hours enjoying the view. Words can't describe how elated I was and still am. I would recommend Liberty House to everyone and especially work with Alexandra. I would also highlight that Virginia(maitre d) was great and ran that reception room like a boss. Had my wedding here the past weekend. The venue, food and service exceeded my husband and I's expectations. The view outside was beautiful as well. Highly recommend working with Vivian. She was easy going, responsive and on point with any questions I had and could not have made planning a wedding easier. The venue was set up beautifully and I received many compliments from guests on how smoothly the whole ceremony/cocktail hour and reception went. If I could give more stars, I would! Beautiful venue. Perfect for date night, client meetings or wine with the gals. The service is always superb and their rotating menu always offers impeccable cuisine. YOU MUST TRY THE ICE CREAM. Hotel Alex was a fine experience. Though it wasn't the cleanest environment, the staff was very hospitable. They were wiling to adjust the thermostat when it got too cold, provide food when I was hungry, and most importantly, play games with me when I got bored.
