Nibbles our Guinea pig has stayed here for the past year. She has an amazing time and we know she is cared for greatly. She always looks settled when dropping her off and collecting. Lovely location setting and lovely staff. My cat stayed for 11 nights whilst I went on holiday and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving her in the hands of the staff at Lakeside. I was able to go and view and choose which pen I wanted for her and was able to pick her up on a Sunday morning on request. I received pictures and videos whilst away so I could see everything was okay. Cannot fault the service and at a reasonable price to. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped to look after my four cats during there 2 week stay with you. This is an amazing cattery who really go the extra mile in looking after your cats. I have been very impressed with the cattery and would highly recommend it 101%. My cats have come home not as stressed as they have been in the past when staying at other Cattery’s where there are dogs. My girls poppy and willow love staying here we always used to worry about the girls when we went away but the girls always look chilled out in the photos and always look well looked after when we return to pick them up it’s home from home for them thanks everyone for caring for my girls

Kitt has just returned from his mini break at Lakeside. He has enjoyed lots of fuss and cuddles while there and particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife on the lake. The rooms are all spotlessly clean and Kitt enjoyed being a celebrity and having his photo taken for the facebook page. Oscar has just had his first stay at lakeside and his first ever stay in a cattery to our knowledge. He's been so well looked after. He had been given toys to play with, lots of lovely food he enjoyed and a truly luxury suite of his own. He loved to sleep on the large scratch posts and I enjoyed the comfort of seeing him on the weekly pictures and facebook posts. I am very impressed with the quality of care and overall service and Oscar certainly had no complaints. I will definitely be using lakeside again and very soon. More...

My 2 cats have just returned from a stay at Lakeside and I have to say how impressed I’ve been. Smooth booking system and updates ahead of their stay, lovely photos of the cats enjoying their holiday on FB and a warm welcome on our return yesterday. Would like to day a huge thank you to the amazing staff here who looked after my two kitties, both of which had never been in a cattery before. I was very worried about my rescue girl as she is extremely nervous but I felt completely reassured and comfortable leaving her in the safe hands of this cattery. Having booked a three week holiday we were very apprehensive about leaving our cats for such a length of time. However, we need not to have worried. The facilities at Lakeside are excellent - they really are home from home. The care and attention they received was also excellent - they have come back contented and very well fed - a sign that did not miss us at all!! Our cats loved their holiday here, very nice cattery, spotlessly clean, lovely staff that take care of the cats. The views over the lake with the birds keeps the cats entertained. I would certainly leave our 2 cats here again without a doubt. We were updated via Lakeside Cattery Facebook page which is a nice touch. Lakeside managed to accommodate our Ginger at very short notice after being let down, lovely setting and plenty of room, Ginger came back very relaxed and contented, will definitely use again in the future, thank you for taking care of him.

Lovely staff, pens are large with lots of great climbing and scratching posts, the cats have an excellent view out over the lake and countryside. Diamond has been coming to Lakeside now for a few years. He is always looked after very well, and seems to be settled. The pens and area where the cats live are always extremely clean, tidy and homely, Diamond loves the large cat post/bed. The staff are always welcoming and polite, and its obvious they are huge cat lovers. I always have piece of mind when leaving Diamond at Lakeside, and so I can then relax while I'm away on my holiday. I highly recommend Lakeside cattery, as it simply is a Luxury for my cat to stay in! & Diamond thinks its just Purrfect!!! Thanks for taking great care of him! More...

Our cat Misty has stayed here several times over the last few years and I would never send him anywhere else! The staff are lovely and friendly and very professional. I always feel welcome and the cats accomadation is lovely, spacious, clean with excellent play/climb equipment, beds etc. I have seen many cheaper places however you get what you pay for and I believe no other cattery would be so wonderfully resourced and caring as lakeside. Despite being nearly 30 minutes away with catteries on the doorstep I would never want to send him anywhere else. I love it that much I'm thinking of a change of career! We've got a massive Maine Coon that is very fussy, just as we are when it comes to our pets, only the very best for them. And Lakeside offers the very best indeed . Absolutely immaculate always, very spacious with very high quality beds and massive towers. They really give these kitties all the attention in the world, our Sheldon is not keen on being taken for a lap cat but definitely tends to forget that when he's there :) he looks so relaxed and comfortable when we go to collect, we really couldn't ask for more.
