Seriously!!! I’m obsessed with this place!! It’s location is absolutely perfect and I’m not just saying that because I live a block away. It’s right on the water! The staff is incredibly helpful, inspiring and has a contagious energy! Prices are reasonable especially for locals (ask about their rewards program). I haven’t painted in over a decade and this is my second time here, I’m in love. They have a great little selection of drinks and super accommodating to your needs. Went to paint and sip on a Thursday evening. There were probably 15 people there. The mood was good, everyone got a beer or a glass of whine (1st one on the House) we all got comfortable and the lessons began. Easy to follow though you could feel the apprehension in the room. Every once in a while the instructor rings a bell and the room has a sip. As the evening goes on the confidence and excitement builds. People are chatting with each other and having a blast. I just had an amazing experience at the Marriott Timber Lodge put on by Lake Tahoe Paint & Sip!!! Charlotte was our instructor- very talented and patient. Jill, owner of the studio, was there offering support, encouragement and excellent customer service! We live in CT, and I was concerned about getting my "masterpiece" home.... Our instructor was really nice and I loved how you got one glass free and the next glass was only $5. What I didn't like was that he was teaching us how to paint a painting he didn't even paint so he left out all the nice detail from the original. We painted a waterfall with trees on top and the main tree looked like if was burnt from a fire. He also didn't teach any paint technique and only used 2 out of the 4 brushes. If your someone that does paint nite a lot like me, this isn't something for you. Staff was nice and place very clean just didn't like that his painting looked like a kid painted it compared to the original. More...

Let me start by saying I did NOT want to do this. I just wanted to hang with some friends that were going as I have no artistic skills. But as soon as I arrived, I realized they had a nice selection of wine, but even better, schooners of beer on tap. When was the last time you had a nice cold schooner? And all less expensive than a traditional bar or restaurant. After ordering a cold Deschutes IPA, I was still unsure what I was going to do as the last I tried to paint was in Kindergarten and it had numbers on it. To my relief, there was an instructor who was awesome. Engaging, fun, energetic, and talented. (I will post his name when I find out as I must have had too many schooners to remember his name) We had an absolute blast and I look forward to bringing a group again. My husband and I visited Tahoe Paint and Sip as part of a double date. We had such a fun experience and I cant wait to do it again! I love this studio! The location is ideal and the instructors are out of this world good. It is great for everyone, even first time painters. Great selection of drinks, and amazing atmosphere.
